THE WITCHES

The première of our new play “The witches”, adapted from the text by Roald Dahl, took place on Wednesday 12th March.

In this funny play, we saw how some terrible witches wanted to transform all the children of England into mice. Fortunately, Roald, Noema, Harald, Bruno and Grandma stopped them.

Our settings were awesome. The set designers really did a good job!!

The dancers (witches) performed a wonderful choreography at the première.

Of course, the actors knew their lines by heart, so the play was a complete success!

I wanna thank all my “troupe for the really nice job they did! You’ve been lovely!!! And I mean it!

Letters from our e-pals

Here you are some of the letters we’ve received from our e-pals in Connecticut.

Hi! What’s up?

My name is Kylie. I live in Connecticut. My favorite sport is soccer. Do you have a favorite sport? I have many pets in my home. I have two cats, two dogs, a fish, and a bird. I used to have more pets. I live in a family of four (including me). I have a sister, mom, and dad. We all like to go swimming.

On the weekends, we eat together and listen to music at night. It is a lot of fun. I celebrated Christmas with my family this year. What do you celebrate? I got a guitar, clothes, and an I pod with some other things.

What do you do during your free time or for fun? I really like swimming and playing soccer. We will be sending you our pictures soon! This spring I am going to a concert. My favorite band is on tour, and I am very excited. Going to concerts is my favorite hobby. I like going to concerts even more than I like playing soccer and swimming.

Sincerely,

Kylie

Hi,

How was your Holiday? I enjoyed mine very much. It was nice having some time on my own away from school for a little while. I hope you enjoyed your holiday as well. For the last few days here in Connecticut, it has been almost 50° Fahrenheit, which is an unusually high temperature for this time of year. What is the weather like where you live? I would be interested to know. Now, for me it is back to school until February vacation, which I am already looking forward to. After February vacation, there are only a few random days off here and there until summer vacation. I am about halfway through 8th grade now, and next year I will be going up to the High School. I am a little nervous about this, since the High School is a lot larger than the Middle School, where I am now. Talk to you again soon!

William
