STEP 4
STEP 4_WRITING THE SCRIPT
Now that you have already decided on the type of programme and its sections and you have gathered some useful information, it’s time for you to start writing the skeleton of the programme (sections)
You can add some advertisements.
You have to look for tunes, music and sounds.
You can use dictionaries online such as wordreference.com or foreignword.com. Please, DO NOT USE TRANSLATORS!! You are better than a machine!
Ask your teacher for information about skeletons.
STEP 3
STEP 3_GATHERING INFORMATION
Search information about the type of programme you have decided to do and about the contents you want to talk about.
The gathering of information will be an ongoing process, but you have to be prepared before writing.
STEP 2
STEP 2_TYPE OF PROGRAMME
Discuss with your group about what type of programme you would like to carry out.
Remember the types of programme we read about on
You may want to make a magazine with different sections (news, sports, talkshows, quiz show, interviews, weather forecast, cooking recipes…)
STEP 1
STEP 1__GROUPS AND ROLES
You will form groups of 4 students. All of you will have to work cooperatively and each of you will have to coordinate an area:
A coordinator in charge of the script (English).
A coordinator of searching for information.
A coordinator of the music selection.
A coordinator in charge of Audacity.
Please, write a comment telling me the names of the coordinators in each group.
ON THE AIR
On the air- Crèdit variable de ràdio en anglès
This credit aims to make a RADIO PROGRAMME. Our task is divided in two parts:
1. Writing the script.
2. Recording the programme.
Through 8 steps we’ll be able to record and listen to our own radio programmes. I’m looking forward to it! And meanwhile, I hope you enjoy and work a lot. Good luck!
CREDITS
This bloc aims to be a tool for students as for the teacher to carry out the tasks set in this credit.
The information and instructions are taken specially from the webquest Fem ràdio by Anna Pérez. If I hadn’t found this webquest, this credit would have been totally different.
I also have used the webquest Fem ràdio a l’institut, which has been very useful too.
Thanks a lot.
