The leaves are pinnately compound. The leaves are 2.5cm to 5 cm long.
The trunk is brown and thick.
It has seed cones that contain the seeds. Cone maduration takes one year.
It can grow up to 30-40 m but sometimes the tree can grow up to 60m.
The wood of the cedar is used for make chests.
