Hello, this year Mas Llop is all about music. So we made an instrument with a toilet roll.

First we got the toilet roll and we put decorating paper around the roll.

Then we made a hole on one side, and we decorated it with glitter and coloured paper.

The result were superb!!

The children have made an excellent effort today with writing a postcard in English. The postcard will explain what the children have been doing since their arrival on Sunday at Mas LLop. I was very happy with the level of written English shown by the children and they will all make for very interesting reading when they arrive at your homes.

Today in the class we have been working on how listening to music can affect our emotions. The children listened to some songs and then decided how that song made them feel. Some of the results were very surprising which made for some very interesting discussions.

This year at Mas LLop we would like the children to contribute to the class blog. The children have been given a tutorial on how to do this and we will be posting very soon. Keep coming back to see what is new.

After their English lesson this morning, the children were busy making musical instruments. The children made a kazoo and had great fun playing with them in class.

Today the children have been finishing their posters highlighting the values we want them to follow whilst they are here at Mas Llop. The results were fantastic and a great way to start our work here at Mas LLop.
