Farewell

My dear students in Batxillerat2,

Everything that has a beginning comes to an end is a quote by Marcus Fabius Quintilian which could serve us well at the end of this course. But I like better Kenneth Kaunda‘s Ambition never comes to an end because, at your age, this is what you’ve got to be: ambitious. Ambitious in this future you have ahead of you.

It’s been a pleasure to teach you throughout these two courses and I honestly think that I have also learned from you. I hope you keep in touch and keep me posted on your achievements.

Don’t wait “for the miracle to come” because miracles don’t come, either you know it or you don’t. So, don’t trust your luck. Study and do well in Sel·lectivitat.

Well, kiddos, some homework:

Do read

Do watch movies

Do travel

Live abroad

Do go to the theatre

Don’t miss exhibitions, art shows…

Practise sports

Go out

Be open-minded

Keep on learning and improving your English

Do live! Time flies!

I repeat, a pleasure!

Good luck!

And rather than the end, this is a farewell…
