This cartoon by Dave Granlund fromThe Cagle Post made me think of you, my dear BTX2 students!
The cartoon shows a family about to eat their Thanksgiving dinner (turkey). Many Christian families say grace before a meal. This means that they bow their heads while someone says a short prayer. The “joke” here is that everyone has their heads bowed – but they are not in prayer. In fact, they’re all glued to to their phones or tablets (including the baby!). Such is the age we live in.
