To practise oral language using TPR techniques from all kind of resources.

To listen attentively and show understanding by matching, numbering or acting out.

To read and understand words from the key vocabulary worked in each activity.

To identify words and short texts with visual and audiovisual support.

To produce short oral texts such as songs, rhymes, chants using visual and other supports.

To participate in drama, story telling activities and collective speeches such as songs, respecting others productions.

– Criteris i sistema d’avaluació

Shows understanding by means of verbal and non-verbal answers.

Follows set routines from the action songs and listenings comprehensions.

Catches the main idea and identifies some specific elements in digital oral texts, with the help of both linguistic and non linguistic elements in the context.

Reads and identifies simple words and sentences previously introduced in an oral way about familiar and interesting topics.

Follows set routines.

Recognizes and produces the rhythm, the stress and intonation of the key structures and the vocabulary.

Makes an effort to understand.

Takes part with interest in the activities.

Assessment:

In order to detect progress, difficulties and possible blocs of the learning progress the program will be in constant review. In each session we’ll have a register where we will have the name of the students and the objectives being evaluated in that lesson. We will also value all positive attitudes towards the learning process in order to increase motivation and self-stem.

In order to evaluate the program. We start from the evaluation criteria in each lesson and check if the goals have been achieved. I each session we will write observations so we can tell what activities worked and which ones didn’t and write proposals to improve them.

 

– Seqüència d’activitats proposades.

En totes les sessions s’intentarà treballar d’una manera ludica cada activitat proposada. La estructura sempre serà: Action song + group activity o comprensió lectora + story. La idea és anar organitzant els continguts al nostre gust sempre amb aquest tipus d’estructura de lliçó.

– Metodologia

I will always give priority to listening and speaking skills on these level. Oral language has a central place in this program. Most of the activities are directed to this end.

The activities developed will have an increasing level of difficulty depending on the age group and they will be motivating and close to the children world. Many of them mean a Total Physical Response ( TPR ), besides provoking verbal and non-verbal responses. The same patterns will be repeated in each lesson. Some of them are aimed to routine acquisition, to work in group or alone.

Pupil’s will work there their listening skills and practice directed activities through games, movement challenges, action songs specially designed to meet the goals of the program.

Look what I can do takes profit of the new technologies in  order to create situations where children develop their communicative competence using active methodologies that promote co-operation, dialogue and group interaction.

The activities will always be presented in a stimulant and attractive way so pupil’s get involved and motivated.

Principles:

Active: Pupils are the main characters

Participative: Promotes team work, friendship and co-operation.

Inductive: Helps the self-learning process.

Communicative: The language as a tool to use in real situations.

Fun: Based on the fun activities as a tool for the learning process.

Creative: children explore and react as they think.

– Educació inclusiva

According to the principles of teaching ” Look what I can do ” supplies  a common formation to each pupil which will favor equal opportunities, making a variety in the pedagogical interventions and creating the right and necessary conditions in order to promote the good development of every boy and girl, pointing out the respect of differences as a source of knowledge.

The program is designed to give simple and easy to follow explanations, talking slowly and using lots of gestures so everyone can understand. During the development of the main activities we can demonstrate if necessary.
