Our 5th and 6th grade students went on excursion to the nearby area of “ Els Colls Miralpeix ”. This is the coastal area that includes de municipalities of Vilanova i la Geltrú, Sant Pere de Ribes and Sitges, within the Natural Park of Garraf.
They have learned and investigate about our coast formation, our beaches and they have also experimented on how waves at shallow water behave. And most importantly they reflected on how Vilanova’s harbour has changed through time by comparing pictures dated in different years.
