Peter is a polar bear, he lives in the Arctic. One day he goes on holiday…he rows and rows and rows to find the beach.
He arrives in the mountains, but it’s cold and cloudy there. So, Peter rows and rows and rows and goes to London, but it’s raining there.
Then, Peter rows and rows and finally he arrives in the beach. It’s hot and sunny, but it’s very noisy there…and Peter goes back to the Arctic. There’s no place like home!
Look at our mural: the students of 3rd level have drawn Peter during his holiday.
Today it’s Easter, but Easter bunny visited us last week to give some chocolate eggs to all the students…
chocolate eggs were delicious and Easter bunny was really funny
Students enjoyed his visit very much… …more than an Easter bunny came…
Then, after eating the eggs, children wrote an Easter poem, decorated and learnt it:
On Tuesday, 10th March 2009 we celebrated our second English Day, it was a very special day.
All the Primary students had different activities, and all the teachers at school gave English activities.
Students had to sing songs, make a craft, write, listen to a story, play on the computer, make a mini-book, play Logico draw a tie, watch a film and do a wordsearch. Stressing? No! Good fun to learn!
Here you are the first one: a craft. They drew their hands on coloured paper and made a big rainbow. Now you can see it on a wall, in a corridor. Then, they did a wordsearch about Saint Patrick’s Day.
We are learning the time in class.
We have a clock and we answer this question: what time is it?
Look at this clock, it is different. It is a 24 hours clock. You can find it in Greenwich, England.
Observe it carefully and say: what time is it?
Other famous clocks are The Big Ben (London) and the Astronomical clock (Prague):
Do you like them?
Rudolph is a red nosed reindeer and he’s got a shiny nose.
Rudolph is a “piñata” and he’s hanging up in the classroom.
Vixen is another reindeer and she’s got a shiny nose too.
Vixen is a piñata and she’s hanging up in the classroom too.
Rudolph and Vixen are full of sweets but children don’t know…
In some days students will have a big surprise: they will hit the piñatas!!
