These are examples of some exercises we often do in class. If you listen to the students speaking in English, you’ll realise how much they learnt after a schoolyear.
A new school project, “The Circus” took place last February and ended at Carnival.
We organitzed English workshops to paint shoeboxes to turn into Circus tents. The results were amazing and children leaved the classes with a Circus full of characters to play with.
Later, we decorated the school with more circus pictures. We painted long bunting for the corridor to make it colourful and welcoming.
Look at the amazing clowns we drew and painted at the English painting sessions. They were done by 1st and 2nd graders.
Peter is a polar bear, he lives in the Arctic. One day he goes on holiday…he rows and rows and rows to find the beach.
He arrives in the mountains, but it’s cold and cloudy there. So, Peter rows and rows and rows and goes to London, but it’s raining there.
Then, Peter rows and rows and finally he arrives in the beach. It’s hot and sunny, but it’s very noisy there…and Peter goes back to the Arctic. There’s no place like home!
Look at our mural: the students of 3rd level have drawn Peter during his holiday.
