Gingerbread houses

Here you are our gingerbread houses. They are made of biscuits and sweets. Our teacher used meringue to glue the walls and the chimney. They smell…delicious! And they look very good. In some days we will eat them. Mmmmmm!

Carving pumpkins

On Halloween we’ve been carving pumpkins. It’s not difficult, you need a pumpkin, a design and some patience…

We used a pattern and we enjoyed drawing a face on the pumpkin. We put some newspapers inside in order to dry the

pumpkins and they lasted some days.

Halloween

Halloween is the 31st October. It’s a popular Festival around the English speaking countries,like Great Britain, Canada or the United States. People carve pumpkins and put them at the windows do you like them?

English day

Last Tuesday we celebrated the English Day at school.

We sung songs in English, we made a Big Ben, , we played with Logico,we made a scrapbook, we watched short films in English…we enjoyed our English day very much and we learnt a lot of things.

Playground game: “Frog in the middle”

A student sits in the middle of a circle. He is the “frog”. He can’t stand up.

The players stand in the circle around the frog. They touch him and prod him. They shout:

Frog in the middle, you can’t catch me!

The frog tries to touch someone. If he touches someone, they are “the frog”.

Playground game: What’s the time Mr. Wolf?

The wolf is facing the wall and the students, far from him, shout:

What’s the time, Mr. Wolf?

He says the time:

“I’ts four o’clock!

And children walk four steps. They repeat the question and the wolf says the time.

But…the Wolf shouts suddenly:It’s dinnertime!

And he runs after the students to catch one, who becomes the Wolf!

Our Easter cards

These are our Easter cards. They’re nice, aren’t they?

We’ve coloured the pictures and we’ve written nice poems.

Then, we have given our cards to other students and we’ve received their cards and read their messages.

Pancake day
