Books that left a track in my life. Tips to share

Enviat per: Mascaraque Eche, dins de Values

My fourth last year students gave me an unexpected present when I complained about their little interest in reading. Actually their childhood was marked for some very interesting readings, stories that they have not forgotten. These are some of their tips that have shared together.

These books influenced  my life:

La penya dels tigres·

Harry Potter (the first, the second, the third and the fourth)·

El noi del pijama de ratlles·

   Diez negritos·

 Grimpow·

      Eragon·

     Eldest·

Viaje al centro de la tierra·

     Simpson’s comics·

Mortadelo & filemon’s comics

These books belong to the genre of adventures and fantasy. They have influenced me very much because I always have been a boy with great imagination and these books have helped me to preserve it. Also the comics have helped me to be always satisfied and happy.

My name is Anna and I am 15 years old. In my life I have read many books but those that have struck for me more during my life are the following ones. When I was 8 years old I started to read the first book of Harry Potter but I did not finish it until I was 9  because I hadn’t more time. This story of fantasy and mystery struck  me a lot.Around  my 10th birthday I started to read “Esgarrifançes:

El penjoll maleït”. This book is one chronicles of fear and of mystery but also it treats about a story between two friends who finally love themselves.A year ago, when I was 14 years old, the school made me read a book at school “El principe de la niebla” . It was the first time that I liked a book to which they forced to reading me. It was a story of fantasy, of fear, of love and drama.

 Also         La isla del tesoro

  Alguna novela de Ágata Cristie

El noi de pijama de ratlles

2009 a New Opportunity to commit yourself to new habits

A very well known American Coach, J. Canfield said: “A person is an accumulation of habits and some of them can be self-destructive patterns instead of successful ones”.

I agree with him. We do different routines everyday that make us be what we are:

For example: What we eat, how we dress, when we shower, how we talk…

There are habits that make us successful and others that make us fail.

Habits are necessary. They can transform our personality and make a difference in our future. Things like getting up early, practicing sports, having a short shower, walking to school,  learning to organize our notes,  planning our time of study and relax, to dedicate a time to listen to others or doing some voluntary work… instead of getting up late, smoking, watching tv all day, chatting too many hours, forgetting our homework, not to plan our work, not to help at home, not being kind, not trying to organize our lives…

I know it is not easy to change our routines but we can easily identify the ones that make us unrestful and commit ourselves to adopt a new habit every term, so that we can have four new successful habits a year.

Miguel has decided to do his homework every day instead of doing nothing.

Keith has decided getting fit and attend a gym three times a week.

What is the unwanted habit you are going to free yourself this term?

What is the habit you are going to adopt this term?

Every mistake is an opportunity to start again and do it well

Who have not ever thought on the possibility of living twice the same Life?

Si la vida pudiera vivirse dos veces, ¡cuántas cosas cambiaría!

We are not aware that every second is different to the previous one and every thought, every word, every meeting…is continously changing our personality, and we continously are becoming a new person. Actually, while we are alive we are having the opportunity of reconstructing the puzzle of our behaviour, of our acting, of our surroundings to become the person we really want to become.

Have you ever thought of the inmense buncho of possibilities to your reach?

Leave a comment please.

We shall start again like the Fenix.

Fenix Ave  Like a Mandala, carefully decorated with circles and colours that is blown once is finished, our blog entrances and our students’comments were erased from the face of internet all of a sudden. All the sentences linked with thoughts, all the effort supported by our students, four months of cooperation, were erased nobody know how.

The point is that we must go on. Nobody can destroy our dreams, not even make us fail if we don’t want. Think that, as important as the aim is the pathway, and every step is a little target we are achieving, and many little targets will conform the Mandala of our life. Life is a continous Rebirth!
