Charles Dickens is my idol… or should I say, he is one of the men who have changed my life?
He was an important British writer in the 19th century. He wrote episodic novels and articles for journals. His work is known worldwide (Oliver Twist, David Copperfield, Tale of two cities…)but, to me, he is really important because with him I passed my exams to become a teacher. I was very young and with little experience but a lot of energy and I got inspired! Thanks to Dickens, I’m your English teacher today!

My idol, as I told, is my grandfather, Alfons Pino.
He was born in 1917. When he was studying to be a teacher, the civil war brohe and the Republican faction demanded him to fight against Franco and the fascism. He was colonel of army and he combated in a lot of battles, the most important of them was the Ebre’s battle, where he was been casualty. Using the wound, he got go to France, where he spent one year worfink as a farmworker. When Hitler entried to France, he came back to Catalonia. Then, the police arrested him and he was imprisionated for a time. One day, he was to free and since then he lived a peacefull life. He got married Teresa and had two sons. He died when he was 90 years old.
I admire him not only for his fight in the civil war, specially because he was a very intelligent, fair and kind man. I loved hearding him when he told me stories of his life, or when he taugh me maths. I hold a lot of sweet memories of him and he is the best man that I’ve ever kmown.

All the people when think about his or her idol think about a famous person. But I think that our idols are in the real life. And they are people who share moments with you.
For me, the person who I admire the best is my brother.
He is my idol in all aspects. In personal effects, he is my idol because of his confidence and his happyness and because of his way to see the life. He was born in 1986 and when he was at my age he finishes 8th of the world and now he is training to become one of the bests athletes of Spain. And is for this that I admire him. And for me, he is the best person in the world!

According to my exposition, one of my idols is Jesus Christ of Nazareth, and I’m going to continue explaining his supposed live:
He was born in a stable in Bethlehem, Judea, in Christmas’s 0, according to Christians, in fact, in the 748-753 date established of Rome. His adoptive father was Joseph, descendent of David, King of Israel. His mother was Mary, who was immaculately conceived by a bird called Holly Spirit. Holly Spirit is three entities and the biological father of Jesus. Joseph and Mary did tings like Mary with Holly Spirit and later Jesus had four brothers and two sisters. He was a Jew.
When he was a baby, King Herod wanted to murder him, but he couldn’t because his family escape to Egypt. He worked some time in his adoptive father’s carpenter until he went to work for his other father, the Holly Trinity, when he was 32 years old.
He was going preaching for the equality, the humility and the woman. He had a girlfriend called Mary Magdalene and a friend called Judas Iscariot. He was famous for his miracles like multiply the breads and fishes, heal the blindness and lameness and resurrect his friend Lazarus. Some people believed that he was the soon of Good and the high Jew authorities told that Jesus was a seditious for his discourse and a charlatan.
At day of Easter, Roman Praetorian Guard arrested him because of Judas and took him to Sanhedrin (assembly of twenty-three judges). Sanhedrin sentenced him to death and the Roman authorities executed him. He was dead because people believe his thought.
Three hundred years later, someone called Constantine I written ideology of Catholic Christianity with platonic Ideas, Stoical Philosophy and something which said Jesus.
He is my idol because he did that people remember him for more than two thousand years and got that a lot of people, called The Church, live off other people.

I don’t have any type of idol like can be one actor or singer but it’s true that I like their films or songs.
My idol, isnt’ a famous person that you can be on Tv and he didn’t win any prize of literature or chemistry (at least, isn’t at the moment).
He was born in 1991 and he is the most nice person I had known.
He has everything wich one person can wish. He is sweet, intelligent, affectionate, shy and dared according to the circumstance, very respectful with me and the others and, for me, the most handsome boy.
He doesn’t smoke and plays sports. He is entertained and gracefully, I’m always laughing when I’m with him.
He always is looking for the others and accepts any situations though this situations aren’t convenient to him. He never gets angry with anyone though any people deserve it…
He is so spectacular and special for me.
I admire my idol, and he is so important in my life because he makes me try to be a better person to reach him.

Well I haven’t any special idol, but I have to choose someone for do this, I was thinking a lot and finally I decided for a person that a really admired.
First of all said that she was born in Barcelona, in 1964 but, however, she has “andaluzian” blood. One of things that a like of her is her ability for hear you, and if you have a problem and talk with her, she knows give you an adviced, and then you feel better. Another thing is that you never see her sad, all the oposite she always smiling and she’s happy.
She’s a strong person, pacient, because for suports me is very difficult. And a worker person too.
For all of these anf more things, is, my mother, my idol! =)

Well, my idol is Michael Phelps. He’s a professional swimmer, as you may know.
He went to Sydney Olipic Games for the first time when he was 15 years old, and, although he didn’t get any medal, he became wellknown as a great swimmer.
He’s beaten some world record. He’s got 16 Olympic medals, seven of them have been won in Bejing Olympic Games this year.
He’s my idol because I’ve always loved swimming and when I was a child I really wished I could get as far as he’s got now.
He was born in barcelona in 1964. He becomes one of writters more reading all the world.
He writtes his books in Spanish and his books are translate to other languages, for example English.
He wrottes his first book in 1993, the tittle of the book is “El principe de la niebla”. This book is for young people.
But he become popular in 2001 when he published “La sombra del viento”, his first novel for adult people.
At the moment, his last book that he published last year is “El juego del angel”.
He is my favourite writter. I read his first book in the school, when I was in the E.S.O., that was an obligatory reading and since that I read his books and like me very much.
In Sant’s Jordi’s day I bought one book in the school which tittle is “Marina”, but I don’t start reading.

My idol is Usher Raymond. He is a singer, he was born in 1978 in Chattanooga. He’s call one of the kings of international rap and hip hop.
When he was a child, he had a great voice and he sang in a church chorus, with 13 years he went to Atlanta with his mother.
In 1994 he published his first album, nowadays he has six albums. He has won different prizes for example MTV and Soul Train. He’s actor and dancer too. He has participated in different series and films.
I choose Usher because I like his music and his songs, and in part is special for me because my boyfriend dedicated me one of his songs.
