In 2nd grade we studied the places in our school in English. Look!

2nd grade La Bassa School Torregrossa

In English class, the 2nd graders learnt about clothes and then had a fun fashion show in class. They walked like models and showed off their cool outfits. Look!

In 1st grade we learned a little play: The Enormous Turnip. We performed it in front of I5, I4 and I3. We were nervous and we forgot some things but we had fun.

In 1st grade we did our first presentation in English. We learned about animals, their colours, their body parts, their food and their habilities.
 

2nd graders learned about health problems. To practice they acted out like little doctors in English class.

In 1st grade we presented our family!

In 1st grade we asked for school objects. It’s difficult to speak in English but little by little we can do it!

Halloween was originated and celebrated in Celtic countries like Ireland and UK. Immigrants took many Halloween traditions to north America (United States and Canada). Now, it’s very popular and it is celebrated in many countries.

In English class we made some crafts: in 1st grade SCARY GHOSTS and in 2nd grade UGLY MONSTERS!

In 1st grade we presented some animals in front of the class. It’s our first presentation in English! In groups, we prepared a paper with a drawing and a very small description of the animal (colours, body, actions and food). We didn’t practise very much and we don’t know a lot of English yet but we tried it and we did the best we could do!

In Cicle Inicial we did some activities related to dinosaurs. We practised some vocabulary of the body parts and we recorded our voice. It was fun to listen to our talking dinosaurs!
