To inspire the students, we watched these famous artists self-portraits:
We dedicated a couple of classes to study the proportions and measures of the parts of the face. After doing some practice with that, the students draw their own portraits, paying special atteniton to the proportions of the face. The results are amazing, one can easily recognize the students’ faces.

The magic night of Halloween, so appealing all over the world , is approaching, and we have to cellebrate it with some activities in the ART class.
We want to thank Rafa Alegre, a master in Pumking Carving, who came as a guest to teach the class how to prepare a Halloween lantern.
As a Halloween project, we decided to construct a scary mobile with white clay:
This is a space for the publication of our activities in the ART classes of ZER Ponent. ZER Ponent is made of four Primary rural schools situated inland Catalonia, in the Lleida province: Gimenells, Sucs, Pla de la Font and Raimat. With the begining of this school year 2013-14 we start a new PILE (Pla d’Impuls de les Llengües Estrangeres) project, a CLIL exciting adventure where we will be learing ART and ENGLISH language contents together in 3rd and 4th year students.
