We are in Carnival time! So, in our ART class we decided to play fools and make ourselves a Fool’s Crown. Using cardboard in different colours, the students were shown a model and they had 90 minutes to create one of their own. The only condition was that it had to include rectangles, triangles and circles. All of the students managed to finish the task on time, and the result was a wonderful multicolour group of fools (teacher included)!
Warm Colors
Warm colors are made with orange, red, yellow and combinations of them all. As the name indicates, they tend to make you think of sunlight and heat. Warm colors look as though they come closer, or advance (as do dark colors ), which is why they’re often used to make large rooms look cozier. If you have a huge bedroom that you want to look more intimate try painting a warm color such as
terra cotta or brown to make it feel cozier
Cool Colors
Cool colors such as blue, green and light purple have the ability to calm and soothe. Where warm colors remind us of heat and sunshine, cool colors remind us of water and sky. Unlike warm colors, cool colors look as though they recede, making them great for small rooms you want to look larger. If you have tiny bedroom or powder room that you want to visually enlarge try painting a color such as light blue to make it look more spacious.
Hello boys and girls!!!

HOW TO DRAW THE HUMAN BODY
And here you can admire our creations:
The students of Art in Gimenells have played to be architects for some weeks. They have designed first the building and then whole cities, with all their elements: parks, avenues, roads, hospitals, monuments, bridges, etc, etc. Today, the groups presented their projects in English to the rest of the class.
Observe this wonderful painting by Henri Rousseau from 1910, Tropical Forest With Monkeys.

Objects that are NEAR are bigger and objects that are FAR are smaller. But… wait!
do you know what is NEAR and FAR?
Hello boys and girls!
We have been making our carnival hats these last two weeks, and the students were so cute with them on that we decided to record them with the video camera introducing themselves in English. To make it more exciting we dedicated one class to video edit the recorded presentations with a proper landscape behind, using the chroma key…
But first, have a look at this video and the amazing possibilities of this effect in cinema:
There are important people in Pla de la Font. Do you want to meet them?
