Hi everybody! Hi teachers and students!
I’m Sergi, a young English teacher who is teaching English in a Cicle Formatiu de Grau Mitjà (Explotació de Sistemes Informatics) for his very first time. This is just my second year in public school, my fifth teaching English. And I’m just a substitute teacher, but I’m willing to do things in the best possible way, and I think this blog may help.

Why exactly this blog? When the present academic year started and I accepted the post to teach Cicles Formatius, I was expecting that I would be offered a book or at least some materials. But the thing is that there isn’t a book specifically designed for this credit, and I found that most of the materials I glanced through were quite inappropriate.

That’s why I started to design my own materials to teach English to my students of Computer Science. And from now on, I’ll be adding all these worksheets so that teachers and students can access them, and download them, and pass comments on them. If you are teachers and you also have some materials of your own that you want to share, I’ll love it! The only thing you need to do is to send a comment with a link to your blog -in case you have one, or with an e-mail address where I can contact you.

The worksheets will be mainly vocabulary and grammar worksheets, and readings. All materials are being adapted to the specific language of the world of computers. Take a look and tell me what you think.

If you are one of my students, here you’ll find many of the photocopies I’ve given to you in class -I know some of you are a little forgetful and usually lose things.
