A trip to Madrid

The Camarles secondary school is preparing a trip to Madrid. Most of the students of 4th course of ESO and four teachers will go. This trip will start the 24th February and will finish the 28th February.
The students will stay in  a hotel and they will visit the museum and The lion king musical in a theater. The students will go by bus and they will have the bus available every day.

Carnival

The Carnival:

Carnival is a festive season which occurs immediately before Lent .  Carnival typically involves a public celebration or parade combining some elements of a circus, mask and public street party. People often dress up  during the celebrations, which mark an overturning of daily life.The most famous carnivals in Spain are  Santa Cruz, Las Palmas, Sitges, Vilanova i la Geltrú, Tarragona, Águilas, Solsona, Cádiz, Badajoz, Bielsa (an ancestral Carnival celebration), Plan, San Juan de Plan, Laza, Verín, Viana and Xinzo de Limia

The Carnival King:

The carnival king, the king of the party or the king of carnival is a fictional character who is the center of the festivities. Each year appears on the guise of an animal or a person, and read the opening which opens with the celebration.

In his speech, the king gives permission to have fun without limitation: it is time to dance and parade in disguise. But chaos and madness only last until Tuesday. This day people realize that both clutter is not good.

Carnival in Camarles

Camarles , this year celebrates carnival the 8 of March , It is celebrated , in the casal of Camarles. The people , go to the party dressed up. There are lots of people. The people have a good time!

 

Manel Marques Biography

Manel Marques Rullo was born on 15th July in 1966, Spain, Hospitalet de l’Infant (Catalonia).
He is 63 years old, one year more and he will retire. He started 13 years ago teaching in Hospitalet. He likes teaching all courses. His favourite music is Rock and Roll, flamenco, classico, Lady Gaga and Miley Cirius.
He likes reading books like adventures.
In his free time he relaxes and paints, he doesn’t have hobbies. He has a dog, a Rod Bailler.
He likes travelling a lot to Europe and America. He is married but he doesn’t have children because he doesn’t like children. He doesn’t practice any spors and in his childhooh he played Basketball.
He feesl good teaching in INS Camarles, he thinks Camarles is a good place. He loves food.

Joaquim Crisol’s biography

Joaquim Crisol was born on 7th of March in 1970 in Tortosa. He studied in Tarragona and Barcelona (Rovira i Virgili university and Politecnica de  Catalunya university). He isn’t married. He worked in Dapsa factory( L’Aldea) and some high schools. He started  working in this high school six years ago. Nowadays he is living in Tortosa. In his free time he likes going running and swimming.

Carnival

L’Ampolla: Carnival in l’Ampolla is on 1st of March. First, in the afternoon they do the parade with different groups and their disguises. The Town Council gives money to every group, it depends on how many people there are in the group. The group “Carnestoltes” says a discourse about parties in l’Ampolla. At night every group dinner in the Sport Center and after a musical group sings, and the people dance.

Camarles: On 8th of March first, in Camarles people do a parade, with some persons wearing some costumes and with music, in the end they give some awards for the best group, three awards for the individual children and one for individual adult, but after that, in Camarles there is a  party, they start at 12 o’clock at night and they end when the sun  rises, more or less at 9 o’clock. DJ’s: Pink pig and Toni Rico and for the retired persons, a party  with a dancing ball.

L’Aldea: It Is on 2nd of March, in L’Aldea they do a parade, but generally it is for kids. The parade is formed by carriages and some people are dressed up. In l’Aldea they do a big festivity. After this event, in L’Aldea they do a party dance, it starts at 12 o’clock, and it ends at 3 o’clock a.m.

What happens in our village in the month of February?

On Valentine’s Day people in love give presents to his or her partner. People here give flowers and a cake, but we celebrate St. George and we give  more flowers and a book.

In Carnival the people dress up and on Saturday and Sunday they make a party. Young people dress up and organize a party at night.
