Our reply

Monday, the 29th of February 2016

Dear students in Travnik,

We are very happy to hear from you! Thanks for writing to us.

We are a very little Secondary School, but we are also 12 and 13 years old. This is our first year in Secondary School. In Spain, we start Secondary School when we are 12. Our school is a Public School.

We love our School. This is new and a new project and we are the first and only students here. We start school at 8.05 and we finish it at 14.40. We have got two breaks. We eat lunch at home, and usually very late, at about 3 o’clock. We usually go to sleep late, because we have supper at about 9 or 10 o’clock. We all have a lot of extra-activities after school, such as sports, dancing, music, French… What about you?

We have got a gymnasium, a basketball yard, a football yard, a forest and a garden where we grow green vegetables. There are four classrooms, a very small classroom and a huge science and technology room. We have got digital boards, many laptops and computers.

On your pictures, we saw that you share the desks. We have individual desk. One desk for each student.

Next year, they are building us a brand-new school.

We are sixty students, seven teachers and a wonderful guard. We work in groups of 30 (A or B), 20 (blue, red, orange), 15… or very small groups when playing instruments or studying French.

We do mindfulness and we have typing lessons (half an hour, every week). We have got a library. We have got stick insects and ants in our science room.  We have got a school band, called “Silenci sonor” which is “Sound silence”, in English. There are eleven students in this school band.

We are a green school, and this means that we are environmentally friendly. We turn off the lights when it’s not necessary; we recycle paper, and plastic; we use boc’n’rolls so we don’t use aluminium paper; Tuesdays are the fruit days; We don’t eat fast food in school.

Some of us can dance very well. And some of us are very good at drawing.  We like sports, music, arts and crafs…

We do many different activities: we run on many different races; we play football; we play the violin, the “xelo”,  the flute, the guitar and the piano; we have the Science week; we have the English day; we have the Math day; we have Music days; and some reading trips to the mountains.

Last October, we ran a race and all the students, parents and also our headmistress and secretary ran the race, so we won a prize.

On Christmas we had a big party and our Math teacher made chocolate lollipops for all of us.

We are not allowed to take the mobile phone to school.  Do your teachers let you bring your mobile phone to school?

In June, we are going on a trip for 4 days, so we are sleeping together for 3 nights. It’s going to be good fun!!

We want to go on a trip to your school. Do you know Barcelona? There are a lot of places to visit here. We live near Barcelona. Do you Know FCBarcelona (football team)?

Do you play football or American football?

We have got a lot of exams, and also a lot of homework. Do you have a lot of homework? We hate homework but we are wonderful students.

Do you study in a Public School?

We are looking forward to hearing from you very soon.

AWESOME STUDENTS FROM BADIA I MARGARIT

A l’institut Badia i Margarit ens agrada córrer!

Institut Badia i Margarit?

Back to school

Hem tornat a l’institut estrenant l’any amb calendaris DIY (do-it-yourself) i desbordants de creativitat. Aquí us en deixem algunes mostres.
