“We are the 99%” is the political slogan used by the “Occupy Wall Street” movement, similar tothe 15-M movement 
in Spain. The phrase refers to the concentration of income and wealth among a tiny 1 % of the population and reflects the belief that “the 99%” are paying for the mistakes of a small minority.
