Play again, mime the animal

Put the flashcards around the classroom. Students point out the flashcards and mime when they hear each word.

Repeat the words a) quietly b) loudly c) slowly d) quickly

Listen and point. Listen again and say. Who’s in the picture. Is it a day time, or a night time? What can you see? CD2 track 2. Play again and mime.

Say an animal in a random order. Students say the corresponding number.

Point to the notebook pictures along the bottom of the page and tell children they are going to listen to an animal chant. Play CD2 track 3, encourage them to point, clap and do the simple actions for the chorus (page32). Play again children sing. Divide class in 6 teams and chant.
