CANALS IN GREAT BRITAIN
INTRODUCCIÓ
Les activitats d’aquest crèdit es basen en la enorme xarxa de canals de la Gran Bretanya. Aprendràs quan i perquè es van fer. Marcaràs en una mapa algunes ciutats i els canals més importants que les creuen. Imaginaràs un viatge pels canals que t’agradaria fer. Finalment, entrevistaràs la teva parella per tal de saber com és el viatge que ha imaginat.

1. Watch the beginning of these two videos only for 1 minute. It is only a visual presentation.

2. Watch the 18 slides of this powerpoint. You can see some maps, boats and some locks (rescloses en català, esclusas en castellano).
2. Now open your dossier and write the translation of the text about The Canals just below (debajo de) the English text. You can write it in Catalan or Spanish.

THE TRIP
1) Ahora comienza tu viaje. Ya has dibujado en el mapa los canales por los que vas a navegar y las ciudades que atraviesas y puedes visitar. Ahora rellena la tabla del dossier y decide dónde empiezas tu viaje, cuánto tiempo vas a estar, con quién y otros detalles que hay en la tabla.
2) Ahora busca el diálogo del dossier.(Useful vocabulary : steer= pilotar, remarkable= destacable).
Hazlo oralmente en inglés con tu pareja y escríbe sus respuestas en tu dossier. Después tienes que hacerlo delante de la clase, de memoria (mejor nota) o leyendo.

Prices are typically higher during the peak times of December and the summer months of May, June, July, August and September.
