Talking about a special object

Right, here you have the speaking activity of the FIRST TERM.

You must think of a special object in your life and give an oral presentation about it. Include the following points in your speech.

  1. Introduce yourself.
  2. What is the special object you are going to describe?
  3. Describe the object: colour, size, material…
  4. How did you get it?
  5. When did you get it?
  6. Where were you when you got it?
  7. Why did you get it?
  8. Why did you choose it for the presentation? Why is it so special for you?
  9. Conclusion.

Also remember that…

  • This time you’ll only be able to bring a card with the most important information. You mustn’t read; we already know you can read 😉 It’s time you learn the text by heart.
  • If possible, remember to bring your special object  in class.
  • It’s very important you have a look at the post on Oral Presentations.
  • This is the rubrica in order to assess the oral presentation on your special object:

A good friend is…

We’ve just started with unit 1 and discussed about how much you love your friends! They are so important in our lives!

What makes a good friend? Jot down the personal description of your friend or friends. It’s so difficult to pick up the only one, isn’t it?
