Stigmata

Hope you enjoyed Stigmata, class.

According the the film, the discovery of the Gospel of St. Thomas is believed to be the close to the actual words of Jesus telling his disciples that the Kingdom of God is in all of us and not confined to churches.

    Hi Gemma,
I don’t like scary movies, but I specially liked this one.
Because I think it wasn’t completely scary and it was more of intrige or suspense, well, I don’t exactly know, but it isn’t wscary movie.
I like this film, it isn’t like I was expecting.

I loved this film! I kind of had quite low expectations when we started watching it, but I adored the argument instantly. Well, I love scary movies so of course I liked this one. I really liked Patricia Arquette’s (Frankie, the main character) acting, I found it spectacular.
I often watch TV shows related to exorcisms, such as Outcast and The Exorcist, just because I truly enjoy (yes) this type of stuff. It’s pretty fascinating for me.
Thank you for showing us this film! I love discovering cinematographic gems 🙂

    Hi Gemma!
Stigmata is not one of the best movies I’ve seen but I liked it. The film is based on the stigmas of the girl protagonist in which a priest wants to help. It has got very good effects and quite entertaining the movie. The end is quite surprising. I like it and my punctuation is 8. I recommend it to people who like this kind of genre.

    Hi Gemma,
I don’t like scary movies, but this film is not scary, is interesting all the stigmas of the film by, it’s like the death of Jesús. I’ve never been very interested in movies that speak of religion, but this movie I like and I would recommend it because it is very good.
