Un xic més avall de Santa Margarida i els Monjos, vora Vilafranca del Penedès, s’alça, al costat mateix del riu Foix, aquest antic castell del segle IX, on va néixer Sant Ramon de Penyafort. Al segle XVI fou reconvertit en convent dominic i després en finca agrícola. Després fou abandonat i cedit a l’ajuntament que l’està restaurant. El seu senzill pati, l’esglèsia blanca i el jardinet modest i petit, no són gran cosa, però si passeu per allà el primer diumenge de juny, dia de l’aplec del Sant, us l’ensenyaran. (És l’únic dia que està obert mentres hi hagi obres). De tota manera el molí del Foix i els itineraris de natura vora el riu que el parc us proposa són motiu suficient per fer-hi cap.

Al sur de Santa Margarida i els Monjos, cerca de Vilafranca del Penedès, al lado del rio Foix, está el castillo que vio nacer a San Raimundo de Penyafort. En el XVI feu convertido en un convento dominico. Luego en finca agrícola. Abandonado y cedido al ayuntamiento que lo está restaurando. Su patio sencillo, el jardincillo modesto, pequeño, no són gran cosa, pero si pasais por allí el primer domingo de junio, el dia de la romeria del Santo, os lo enseñaran. Es el único dia que está abierto mientras duren las obras. Atención también a los itinerarios de naturaleza cerca del rio.
