Erasmus+ és el programa de la Comissió Europea per educació, formació, joventut i  esport. Tindrà vigència des del dia 1 de gener de 2014 fins el 31 de desembre de 2020 i comporta un increment significatiu dels fons destinats al desenvolupament del coneixement i les habilitats.

La nostra escola des de fa quatre anys ha presentat diferents projectes en les diferentes categories existent per les escoles de Primària.

Our Project

Mas Boadella School is a public school and therefore subject to current regulations, being organized as established by law. The school is located in the town of Sabadell.
The vehicular language of communication and the basis of teaching and learning is Catalan. The use of Spanish is gradually introduced as a curricular area from 1º of Primary Education. The English language, as the first foreign language, is introduced in the classrooms as a novelty in the 2015-2016 academic year from the first year of the pre-school education stage (P3) within the PELE project.
Previously it was made from P4. Attending that motivation is the main element that leads to the
acquisition of a new language. In the 2015-2016 academic year, priority has been given to the introduction of basic English word vocabulary for P3 students.
The main objective of the English language specialists is the creation of real and communicative classroom situations always close to the student, fostering a favorable and visual atmosphere that provides a direct and continuous contact with the English language. In the 2016-2017 academic year we have implemented an Erasmus + project in the area of visual and plastic arts and English and in a transversal way with other curricular areas given in the educational center.
Our project has clear objectives: to improve the quality of our students’ learning and to offer our faculty the opportunity to grow professionally and personally by participating in an Erasmus + project.
Another of the objectives of the project is the implementation in the school center of the use of ICT in curricular subjects.
The fact of participating in an Eramus + project offers us the opportunity to live directly the culture and the daily life of a foreign language in their country of origin; It offers us the opportunity to meet other visions of European teachers who have the same concerns and needs as our school; It allows us to work cooperatively and obtain an international vision of the different educational systems.
The project’s driving group is composed of three members of the educational team of the educational center:
– Two members of the management team, director and head of studies.
– The ICT coordinator and specialist teacher in the English area.
The project activity will carry out structured training courses and a period of observation of good practices. The activities will be completed in European countries, to take advantage of the day to day immersion and thus improve the communication skills of teachers and professional skills.
The partners selected to carry out our project believe that it is the most appropriate and beneficial for our institution (both school, teachers and students). With our participation we would benefit in the improvement of personal knowledge and skills, and in the professional skills of the selected teachers, in the short, medium and long term.
This project will help us to obtain an intercultural vision with other countries and above all, the cultural vision of the host country or countries. It will help us with new more experimental work methodologies based on research and development. It will improve the level of English of the participating teachers due to their immersion during the training course and that of our students where we will implement the project. It will also have an impact on the classes where we will develop through the practical and
learned ideas of the training team and colleagues, the improvement of teaching methods and help us to reflect on the practices.
The measurement instruments that we will use in our institution to collect the impact caused by the implementation of the new project in the classrooms will be through the application of satisfaction surveys, conducting interviews with parents / students, formulating practical cases to respond to them and , finally, through action and research activities, where the students will demonstrate the degree of learning obtained in the finalization of the project.
The strategies and actions of our dissemination plan will be directed to four clearly differentiated potential groups:

First of all, it would be the students, since with our plan we would contribute to the development of the basic competences.
In the School Council, we would address the issue in order to take the implementation of the project to a European dimension of the institution in a more committed way.
The reflection of the teaching team of the center to approach and reflect on the most innovative methodological approaches.
Disseminate the project among local and state educational centers using ICT dissemination and
inclusion seminars.
