INTO THE WATER

INTO THE WATER written by PAULA HAWKINS

I really enjoyed reading “The girl on the train” and now I am so glad to have discovered “Into the water”. It is a longer thriller than the first, with more characters, and very well decorated with fragments of a manuscript, and a legendary story, which encourages to travel and go deep down into the English countryside. The deep England. In other words, a book thought so that You can’t stop reading.

This second thriller from the writer, who was born in Africa, is recommended for advanced level pupils who will be able to enjoy detecting the most literary grammatical structures and the vocabulary learnt during all their years of study. However, intermediate level students can also enjoy a cultivated writing, but at the same time close and understandable, which characterizes P. Hawkins due to her Philosophy, Politics and Economics studies at Oxford University and her former job as an economics journalist at The Times. As far as I know, an interesting personality who is bound to be thinking about her third thriller.

To sum up, not only can One enjoy reading but You will also learn with a daring story about human weaknesses. Let’s dive into the water, It is time You started, You definitely will not regret. Otherwise You will have lost three hundred fifty-five pages which I am sure they will be a new success.

Here You have some words:

When I was seventeen, I saved my sister from drowning.

But that, believe it or not, is not where all this started.

There are people who are drawn to water, who retain some vestigial, primal sense of where it flows. I believe that I am one of them. I am most alive when I am near the water, when I am near this water. This is the place where I learned to swim, the place where I learned to inhabit nature and my body in the most joyous and pleasurable way.

INTO THE WATER escrit per PAULA HAWKINS

Realment vaig gaudir la lectura de “The girl on the train” i ara estic tan content d’haver descobert “Into the water”.
