REMEMBER REMEMBER THE  FITH OF NOVEMBER

It’s Guy Fawke’s night. The English children remember the night when Guy Fawkes wanted to blow  up the English Parliament . It was in 1605, James I was on the throne. As a Protestant, he was very unpopular with Roman Catholics.But Guy Fawkes  wasn’t successful.

Since then the British celebrate the  5th November  making bonfires. Boys and girls go round the houses looking for wood to make a Big Bonfire and they also do fireworks.

More or less the same we do here in “La nit de Sant Joan”.
