Els alumnes de quart retallen els seus cut-out.

Ja estem a la recta final i és hora de refrescar una miqueta el que hem treballat, així es que els alumnes de quart han agafat el quadern i han pintat i retallat diferents targetes que serveixen per fer activitats d’expressió oral amb els companys.
L’agenda setmanal i preguntar i dir l’hora.
El nostre propi who is who per refrescar com es fa una descripció d’una persona.
Donar direccions en un mapa, parlar dels edificis més emblemàtics de la ciutat.
Preguntar sobre les diferents professions…són exemples del que estem treballant aquests dimecres a la tarda per fer una mena d’activitats més lúdica però a la vegada educativa en anglès que ens ajuda a no oblidar el que ja hem treballat.

Aquestes targetes les estan guardant en uns sobres i se les emportaran a casa…a veure si són capaços d’explicar-vos les activitats!!!


Expositions about endangered animals in 5th

Pupil’s of fifth grade are finding information about differents animals that are in danger of extintion.
We have to make a poster or power point and explain to the others where they live, what eat…and do a short oral exposition!!!
Human beings are the greatest threat to the survival of endangered species through poaching, habitat destruction and the effects of climate change
Everybody are learning a lot of these beautiful and interesting creatures and which are most in need of our help, protection and conservation


ROLE-PLAYS in 5th and 6th grades

Sempre que podem intentem practicar i ensenyar l’anglès de manera que sigui fàcil i pràctica pels alumne. Sovint fem “role plays”que són una interpretació de situacions que es poden trobar a la vida real. En fem tant a 5è com a 6è sobre diferents temes. Aquí podeu veure una mostra de com demanar información per apuntar-se a un equip de futbol i una altra de parlar sobre que poden veure en un paisatge.

Bonfire at 4th grade!

Els alumnes de Quart durant el mes de novembre hem buscat informació i vist vídeos del Bonfire night, una festa que no coneixíem. Aquí us ensenyem algunes activitats que hem fet.

El Guy Fawkes Day o Bonfire Night es celebra el 5 de novembre.

Guy Fawkes Night, also known as Guy Fawkes Day, Bonfire Night and Firework Night, is an annual commemoration observed on 5 November, primarily in the United Kingdom. Its history begins with the events of 5 November 1605, when Guy Fawkes, a member of the Gunpowder Plot, was arrested while guarding explosives the plotters had placed beneath the House of Lords. Celebrating the fact that King James I had survived the attempt on his life, people lit bonfires around London; and months later, the introduction of the Observance of 5th November Actenforced an annual public day of thanksgiving for the plot’s failure.

The present-day Guy Fawkes Night is usually celebrated at large organised events, centred on a bonfire and extravagant firework displays.

 


Festivals!!!!

Els alumnes de 4t aquest curs anirem aprenent, treballant i descubrint coses sobre les diferents festes i celebracions tradicionals ingleses.

Durant el mes de Setembre han fet algunes activitats relacionades amb el HARVEST FESTIVAL.

Què és? Doncs una festa que coincideix amb l’època de collita de tardor. Als pobles es fan fires i àpats, a les escoles es parla sobre els aliments que collim a la tardor i es reciten poemes i es fan receptes.

Els alumnes van veure videos i van llegir informació sobre aquesta celebració. Van aprendre un parell de poemes sobre la collita i la tardor. També van cantar una cançó que sembla que els hi va agradar força ja que era molt divertida!!!

NEWS

Benvinguts a l’apartat dels reporters de cinquè!!!

Aquest curs els alumnes faran recerca de notícies en anglès d’interès general, noticies actuals i d’arreu del món.

Ells mateixos preparen després una lectura o exposició per la resta dels seus companys. Es tracta que mica en mica, aquesta feina es vagi perfeccionant amb més notícies i suport visual.

Només ens ha donat temps a fer una parell però sembla els hi ha agradat bastant la idea, doncs tenen llibertat per triar la noticia i preparar-ho… A més durant el moment d’explicar-la són protagonistes a la classe i es converteixen en uns periodistes magnífics!!!

 

Hello everybody,

we want to show you that 5th grade students are working with different news in English. They read the news and later the present it to their classmates. They became journalists during the class!

Last week they worked with two different news:

HURRICANE MICHAEL

Hurricane Michael is the strongest hurricane to hit the USA since 1992, and it has killed at least 17 people. Michael wreaked havoc cross the south-eastern states of America. It completely destroyed one town in Florida, and left only a few buildings standing. The winds reached speeds of up to 250 kilometres per hour.

VOLCANO POPOCATEPETL

Popocatepetl is a volcano in Mexico that erupted in February because of a powerful earthquake. Recently, the volcano erupted again, and it spewed ash and smoke into the air which you could see for miles. Its activity started 21st September in the evening. Ash fell in a nearby town, and the government warned local residents to stay away from the dangerous area.
