Today we talked about refugees of Syria and what had happened. From the NGO called OPEN ARMS and through the story book AMIC MEU, they explain us some of their experiences.
As an extending activity we relate it to the exhibition “THE MOST IMPORTANT THING, portraits of an escape, by Brian Sokol” and pretend to choose the most important thing for me if I have to escape from home, from my country. It was quite touchy but it was also a way of developing empathy.
See what they choose.
