In the English class we have been watching the story of Tilly and the Tsunami and a video about the real Tilly in which she explains how she saved lives during a Tsunami in Thailand.

During this month, we are starting a new learning situation in which students will be able to identify the countries where English is spoken as an official language. They will also learn some characteristics of each country, such as their traditions, typical food, famous people, and much more.

In addition, they will have to create a poster and give an oral presentation about the country they have been assigned.

Thanks to this learning situation, students will become aware of which countries are English-speaking and that English also has different accents and dialects.
