WOULD YOU SURVIVE A TSUNAMI?

In the English class we have been watching the story of Tilly and the Tsunami and a video about the real Tilly in which she explains how she saved lives during a Tsunami in Thailand.

HOW DO WE LOOK DIFFERENT?

Hello,

We have started the project about how things and people change over time.

Thanks to the book The Giving Tree, we will introduce different vocabulary, such as the parts of a tree and the different stages of life.

Moreover, we are going to explore how people change and why they are different. For that reason, we are going to learn how to describe people and the members of the family.

Project 2 -What’s in your classroom?

Hello everybody!

Over the past few weeks, we’ve been learning new vocabulary about classroom objects and practising the prepositions IN, ON, and UNDER. We’ve also started our learning stations, and the children are really enjoying them!

Let’s Eat Together: Our Restaurant Project

This term, our 4th-grade students are starting an exciting learning situation about the digestive system, healthy food, and balanced menus.

Through this project, we will explore how our body digests food, why it is important to eat healthily, and how to make good choices every day. Students will learn new vocabulary in English related to food and the different food groups.

At the end of the project, we will create our own healthy restaurant! Each group will design a menu with nutritious dishes and present it to their classmates.

This activity helps students connect science and English in a fun and meaningful way, while learning to take care of their health and make responsible decisions about what they eat.

WHAT IS THE PERFECT OUTFIT FOR EACH SEASON?

In our first project: What is the perfect outfit for each season? We’re dealing with how landscapes change during the year. We are learning the vocabulary of seasons, weather, the clothes we wear when it is cold and when it is hot.
