These are the results of our cooking with the 6th grade students. They have done a good practice in the kitchen. They are really good chefs. Finger-licking good recipes!!!!!

Anem aprenent anglès a través de les històries que ens expliquen contes com: “The very hungry cartepillar”, “The snail”….i d’altres conceptes com els números, els colors, les formes geomètriques amb jocs a la pissarra digital. També, hem treballat el Halloween a partir de cançons i fent un minibook amb els personatges principals. I “Christmas” cantant: “Jingle Bells”, “The snowflake” i “Santal”.

This year we have been talking with our friends in Finland. The experience was very interesting. We practised with each other beforehand in the class.

We practised with the English assistant first, she helped us with pronunciation.

Practising with Finland was a lot of fun.

The whole class really enjoyed talking on Skype with the children in Finland.

This year, with the Year 6 class, we made a Christmas presentation about Christmas traditions in Great Britain with help from Lizzie, our English assistant. We sent our penpals in Irealnd some information about our Catalan Christmas traditions.

Halloween is celebrated in many countries nowadays and it´s an important part of the British calendar. Halloween is also celebrated in Ireland, and our friends in Limerick sent us Halloween decorated letters.

Finalment, aquest matí, hem pogut veure el concurs Fish&Chips on van participar els alumnes de 5è i 6è del curs 2011-12. Us deixem l’enllaç perquè tothom qui vulgui el pugui veure.

Els nois i noies de 6è i 5è avui divendres 15 de juny hem anat als estudis de Mediapro a gravar el programa Fish and Chips.
Abans d’entrar al plató, hem esmorzat una mica i també hem hagut d’assajar diferents coreografies.
Com que d’anglès en sabem molt i hem tingut una mica de sort (tot s’ha de dir!) hem guanyat als nostres adversaris, els nois i noies de l’Escola Vila-romana de Palamós.
Ara a l’escola tenim una càmera de filmar nova.

The students from the 6th level made some murals about space. Students had to describe their pictures talking about the space and our solar system, using the structures and prepositions we worked in class. We did the work cooperatively and the results were great.
