– ADJECTIVES TO DESCRIBE PEOPLE : old, young, strong, weak, pretty, ugly, brave, scared, sporty, friendly, wise, trendy, lucky, funny

– ACCESSORIES: watch, belt, ring, wristband, rucksack, scarf, boots, earrings

– HOBBIES: watch films, go out alone, go horse riding, go to pop concerts, go on skiing holidays, play video games

Year 5 – Term 1

This term we are working on:

– REVIEW of level 3 and 4, ordinal numbers 1st-10th, countries

– PERSONAL DESCRIPTION: curly red hair, short blond hair, big blue eyes, small brown eyes…

– PERSONAL ADJECTIVES: polite, rude, tidy, untidy, on time, late

– HEALTHY EATING: carrots, pineapple, broccoli, beans, potatoes, peas, onions, plums

– COOKING VERBS: wash, peel, cut up, put, pour, mix, drink

Year 4 – Term 1

This term we are working on:

– REVIEW of numbers 1-100, alphabet and level 3 vocabulary

– SPORTS: horse riding, playing basketball, swimming, skateboarding, rollerblading, playing volleyball, canoeing, playing hockey

– HOBBIES: writing emails, playing computer games, talking to friends, watching TV, reading comics, listening to music

– PARTS OF THE BODY: feet, toes, hands, fingers, ears, eyes, face, body

– PETS: pony, canary, tortoise, rabbit, hamster, goldfish

– CLASSROOM OBJECTS: a pencil, a pen, a ruler, a rubber, a sharpener, a pencil case, a felt-tip, a book

– SCHOOL PLACES: library, toilet, playground, dining room, classroom, garden

English in Pre-Primary

The daily routines we do when we start English:

1) We greet everybody saying “Hi, how are you? Fine, thank you!”

2) We sing “What’s the weather like?” song.

3) Then we say which season is it and we talk about things related to it, like the colours and some vocabulary.

4) We also talk about our feeling: (Happy, angry, sad, surprised and silly)

A cicle superior: Els alumnes han disenyat uns menus molt especials de Halloween! Yummy, yummy! I també han treballat un poema!
