Canterbury is a beautiful city in the south-east of England, if you want to “surf” in it, click on this link and you’ll find many signts and information about this interesting old city. I have selected for you the tourist information webpage of the town, particularly the bit where you learn about an exciting visit based on Chaucer’s book. Have a nice trip!

oral activity:A moment in my life!

feelings

feelings

The moment I heard people clapping their hands and saw the curtain going down in front of all of us, I felt happy, relieved and moved. The actors started shouting and jumping, one of them gave me a big hug, all were laughing  in happiness and pride of having done a great job. That was how a big project finished, A midsummer night’s dream finally came to an end and all our students had been great. I felt really good, tired and longing for a rest… but it was one of the happiest moments in my professional life…

Well, this is a short summary of what you have seen in class. You have heard my speech as an ice-breaker and example of what I am expecting you to do.

Choose a moment of your personal experience that you want to share with the rest of the class and tell us about it. After your oral performance you must write a short summary on the blog, post it as a comment and if any of your peers or myself want to give you our opinion, we will.

It can be the happiest, the saddest, the weirdest, the most frightening, the … moment of your life!
