Twinkle, twinkle

P4. Our Christmas carol for this year is:

Halloween 2014

Halloween is an ancient festival,a Celtic festival. The Celts (the ancient inhabitants of Great Britain) believed that the souls of those who had died that year progressed to the underworld. It was said to be a night when ghosts, demons and witches roamed the earth and people tried to placate them with offerings of nuts and berries.

Halloween only comes once a year.  Our pupils love Halloween because they can do crafts works. Last month, they enjoyed a lot decorating a cemetery with gravestones and spooky monsters.

Enjoy watching their projects! Happy Halloween’14!

CHRISTMAS 2013

DSC00791We’d like to show you the tradition of decorating the school at Chritmas Time. During these days, our pupils have made snowflakes, a Chritmas Tree, Christmas baubles, Christmas Holly Pop-up Cards, letters to Santa Claus, Christmas Stockings and  Christmas Crackers (paper hats and jokes) in the English class. They have enjoyed a lot participating in all the Christmas activities that we have prepared to celebrate Christmas even the Christmas Carols and songs!

In Level 6th, our pupils have pulled their Christmas crackers on December,20th to celebrate Christmas.

A Christmas Cracker is a brightly colored paper tube, twisted at both ends. There is a “banger” inside, when pulled by two people will create a loud snapping “Crack” or “Bang”. Crackers are very popular in England and accompany many meals over the Christmas period, but especially on Christmas Day. The large formal mid-day meal of Roast Turkey, Roast Potatoes, Brussel Sprouts, Parsnips and The Christmas Pudding)

We invite you to see our Christmas Corner. We hope you like it!
