Ich bin ein 57-jähriger katalanischer Lehrer, Schriftsteller und Literaturkritiker. Ich bin verheiratet und habe zwei Kinder: eine 23-jährige Tochter namens Rosa und einen 21-jährigen Sohn namens Guillem. Meine Frau heißt Araceli und ist Katalanischlehrerin an einem Gymnasium im Ebro-Delta. Ich lebe in einem kleinen Dorf namens Campredó im Süden Kataloniens. Ich unterrichte Englisch und Deutsch an einer weiterführenden Schule in Tortosa, das sich mitten in den katalanischen Ländern befindet. Ich interessiere mich für Kunst und Literatur. Ich spreche bereits mehrere Fremdsprachen (Englisch, Italienisch, Französisch und Deutsch) und lerne neue (Walisisch und Norwegisch). Ich liebe Fußball und unterstütze den FC Barcelona.

The logo that suits best to our project has already been chosen! Previously, we had organised a voting process with the four schools proposals. More than three hundred people willingly helped us choosing our official project logo. Thus, the winner belongs to Institut Roquetes, from Catalonia. Definetely, we shall get the most of it! Congratulations, you have done a great job!
About our schools

In these following pages the four schools members of this project will upload some information about our villages/towns and our schools so that whoever can have access to our project can learn a bit more about our places.
The four members of this project are:
1. Institut Roquetes, Roquetes, Catalonia
2. Institut Dertosa. Tortosa, Catalonia.
Institut Dertosa is a high school with more than a thousand pupils. It is located in Tortosa, the main town in the south of Catalonia. Our students join the school at the age of twelvein order to follow four years of compulsory education called ESO (Obligatory Secondary Education). Once they have passed it, they can take a 2-year baccalaureate course and choose several fields of knowledge such as: science, technology, economics, humanistics and artistic. Hello from Türkiye,
We are happy to be in this project. Our school is located in Balıkesir, in the west of Türkiye and it is Science High School. Students get prepared for the university exam in our school. So they study mostly Biology, Maths, Pyhsics, Chemistry and of course there are a variety of lessons to prepare them to life in our curriculum. This is the web page of our school.

Choosing a logo for the project
Kick-start to the new etwinning Project : Our Digital Stories. Our next task is to choose a logo for our etwinnign project. WE have created several school documents where our students have uploaded their logos and, once each school has voted their representative logo, this will be uploaded to a Google form so that the four finalist logos can be finally seen together and our students will vote which their favourite is.

Our digital stories
About a hundred 16 and 17-year-old students from four high schools, belonging to three different countries, will be taking part in a literary e-twinning project called ‘Our digital stories‘.
Its main aim is to motivate students to engage in creative story-writing, reading, and peer-editing. Depending on the type of the stories, students will collaborate and create digital stories using pictures, music, their voices and various digital tools to create digital versions of the original stories. Needless to say, respecting copyright rules.
Two of these schools come from Catalonia: Institut Dertosa and Institut Roquetes, both of them in the Baix Ebre county council. As for the other two schools: Ekonomsko-birotehnicka skola/The Secondary School of Economics and Business Administration, is a vocational school located in Slavonski Brod, in eastern Croatia on the very border of Bosnia; the second one is located in Balıkesir, in the west of Türkiye (Turkey) and it is a Science High School where students get prepared for the university exam.
