Shoes that I wear at home

At home I use to wear slippers. As you can see, my slippers are pink and have a picture of “Betty Boop”.

I love them because they are really warm and comfortable, so they are ideal for the cold days in Winter.

I think that wearing slippers at home is better than wearing the shoes that you wear for go outside because they are so much comfortable and you keep your house cleaner.

At home people use to wear slippers, and of course, I wouldn’t be an exception.
Mine are white and they have some cotton inside making them hotter for winter. I think they are so funny and they remembers me some cartoon’s slippers.

Moreover, slippers are made by four steps. First of all, you should cut the pieces to made the grade. After edging, and then sewing the paste with some resistent glue. Finally, they may be molded with a technic called : “Bulcanizado’s technic”.
In my opinion wearing slippers is better than wearing normal shoes at home because you can have the house cleaner. In some countries, like in China, people might take out their shoes before entering a house in order not to dirty the floor or carpet.

Here you have a picture of my slippers. They’re red and really warm. In my opinion, they’re very funny because of the two sheep in love. I have some pairs of slippers, but those are my favourite ones because they’re a present from my boyfriend.

For the one’s who don’t know how slippers are made, here you have some information:

First, you must cut the pieces to make the grade. Following, the edging, and finally, you have to sew the paste with glue.

Aquí us deixem el calendari d’activitats previstes

El passat 9 de novembre tres alumnes de 1r de Batxillerat vàrem assistir a la primera trobada del projecte Comenius 2010/11, que es va realitzar a la ciutat d’ Adana, Turquia.
Un cop arribats a la ciutat, les “host- family” que teníem ens van venir a recollir i ens van portar a les seves cases per a descansar una mica després del llarg viatge.
El primer dia va ser molt relaxant. Vam anar a l’institut dels nostres companys/es turcs i vam assistir a les seves classes. L’institut és diferent en l’ àmbit que cada classe té una aula assimilada fixa. A més, han de posar-se de peu fins que el professor/a els permeti seure a l’ entrada de la classe. Per altra part, també vam conèixer els participants dels altres països al Comenius. Aquell va ser un dia de presentació i de trobada.
A la nit d’ aquell dia, els alumnes vam decidir fer una trobada per a conèixer-nos en una cafeteria de la ciutat. El “Jimmy Joker”.
El segon dia va ser impressionant!!! Vam visitar la famosa Kapadocia.
Primer de tot, vam fer una visita guiada per unes coves, i vam tenir un temps per a comprar i visitar parades de “souvenirs”. I a continuació vam visitar les famoses terres de Kapadocia i allò ens va permetre veure les cases típiques d’allà.
El següent dia vam visitar unes coves molt grans i importants. Allà vam fer un passeig i vam haver de pujar i baixar per les roques. Tot l’ esforç, però, va valer la pena perquè vam veure l’ interior de la cova, i veure les seves estalactites.
Finalment, l’ últim dia vam visitar diferents llocs, i vam veure un castell sobre el mar.
Com que era l’ últim dia d’estada a Turquia, tots els participants al Comenius i unes quantes persones més, ens vam unir i vam decidir fer una festa de comiat per a passar una última estona junts. Ens va fer moltíssima pena, i vam caure tots en un mant de plors…
Aquell dia serà inoblidable.

Yay! Finally someone has asked me about the shoes that I usually wear at home! You can see a picture of them at the end of this composition.

I know they are pretty old and old-fashioned, but why should I throw them away if they still can be used? No way, I am definitely not going to do that. I love my shoes and I’m really proud of them.  Unlike many people think, they are extremely comfortable. In fact, they are the only reason I spent so many hours at home; because I am the happiest boy in the world when I wear them.

They look beautiful, don’t they? They are the perfect shoes. As you can see, they are totally brown, as I like. I really don’t understand why people say that they are ugly. They think they are extremely old, but from my point of view that’s what makes them so special.

This boots are unique in the world. They were made by grandmother’s best friend’s hairdresser eighty five years ago. It is said that he spent more than two years to make them, but when he had finished them, he realized that they were so ugly, that he gave to my grandmother’s best friend, who didn’t like them either and as result he gave them to her. I received them five years ago as a birthday present. That is the best present I’ve ever received.

Des d’aquest bloc pretenem donar a conèixer les activitats i comentaris de la participació del nostre centre al projecte Comenius

Aquí us deixem les dues primeres fotografies de la participació.

It is my room. This is my favourite room of the house. Here is where I sleep every night, I play with the computer or I do my homework.

At the background we can see my bed, under of my bed there are a lot of drawers, on the bed I have some felts and over I have shelves with things, both for decoration. To the left there is a green cupboard where I keep my clothes.

To the right of the photo there is the computer and in this table is also where I do the homework and I study. To the side of the table there is another smaller table where I keep pens, pencils, rubbers, colours… There is also a big bookcase for keep my books but also use it for my minichain. My room has a lot of light.

I get up at eight o’clock. Next I have a shower, I have a breakfast like bread with tomato, typical Catalan, pastries with milk or fruit, etc… When I have ready I go to the High School, I leave at ten to nine because I live very near of my High School. In the high school we do Catalan, Spanish, English, Maths, PE, history and other subjects. We are there until three o’clock. When I arrive in my house I lunch, I usually eat vegetable and meat but I also eat sometimes grazes, fish, etc. For deserts always fruit. Next I take a rest, I watch the TV or I play in the computer. To “teatime” I usually eat toasts or a sandwich but sometime I eat a piece of fruit. Next If is Mondays or Wednesdays I have to go to an academy at six o’clock and If is Tuesday or Thursday I do a lot of homework and I study. In night I have a dinner, my dinner is very seemed to the lunch, then I go to watch TV or if I have an exam I study.

At the weekend I do seemed activities but I have more time for my hobbies. I go to play paddle, to the gym, I go with my friends or I watch films.

My daily life

My daily life consists in rutine things. First of all I wake up at 7.45 o’clock if everything is normal, I mean if I don’t have to study or revise for any exam, or do some not finished homework…  Secondly I get dressed and go to the kitchen for my glass of milk. After that I go straight on to my high school. There I do class, it’s logical, and when three o’ clock arrives I can go home again. Once I am at home I use to have lunch and to sleep a few hours because later, I may do all the school’s homework. Then I have my dinner, and finally get a shower and go to bed.  As you see, I don’t use to have many time for watch TV or go out with friends. Even so there are not exams, I might do my homeworks. So… this is the hard life of student!                          

Of course on weekends I have my vital space and from time to time I am able to go out.
