TARZAN PLAY
Next 27th May, the company IPA theatre is coming to our school. Last year they performed “Robin Hood” and this year the story will be “Tarzan”.
Students from 2nd to 5th level of the school will enjoy the play. We have learned some songs of the story about Tarzan and the animals in the jungle. The more successful song has been: “Run monkey”
If you are interested in knowing more about this company, visit their web page:
Songs lyrics:
Run monkey
Run monkey , run monkey, run, run, run don’t give the hunter his fun, fun, fun Bang, bang, bang, bang goes the hunter’s gun Run monkey, run monkey, run, run, run Run monkey, run monkey, run, run, run don’t give the hunter his fun, fun, fun, he’ll survive without his monkey pie so run monkey, run monkey, run, run, run.The Jungle Walk
It’s a big green paradise, full of animals use your eyes, you see them all, doing the jungle walk. Elephants and crocodiles; fish with feet and snakes with smiles, you see them all, doing the jungle walk. Everything’s free and easy, pick the fruit from the trees, see, you don’t need money or credit, credit? forget it! Lions, lepards, lizards too; greet a gorilla how do you do? You see them all, doing the jungle walk.FRIENDS AROUND EUROPE
From 3rd to 5th level, the students of the school are exchanging letters and emails with other schools around Europe. It’s a project in the e-twinning platform to make pupils aware of the importance of learning English. It’s also a way of making the fact of learning a foreign language significative.
3rd Level: Exchange of postcards. We received Easter postcards from a school in Medias (Romania). We have sent St. George postcards to them. They have received them and very soon we will have news from them.

4th level: Emails with a school in England. We have sent a brief description of each student and now we wait for their answer.
5th level: Emails with a school in Coventry (England)
Moreover, we participate in the project “Wall of cards” in which about 30 schools must send postcards of their village or town to each other. With all the postcards, each school elaborates a big Europe map in order to stick the postcards in the correct country.
We have received postcards from various countries and next week we will send about 25 to them.
A nice and motivating experience to all of us, teacher and students.
