Pi (Greek letter ) is the symbol used in mathematics to represent a constant — the ratio of the circle’s circumference to its diameter. For any circle, the distance around the edge is a little more than three times the distance across.

UNESCO’s 40th General Conference proclaimed 14 March of every year International Day of Mathematics in November 2019. The International Day of Mathematics (IDM) is a worldwide celebration. The theme for 2020 was “Mathematics is Everywhere”
