Matisse Goldfish

Joan Miró

JOAN MIRÓ

Joan Miró i Ferrà ( 20 April 1893 – 25 December 1983) was a Spanish painter, sculptor, and ceramicist born in Barcelona. A museum dedicated to his work, the Fundació Joan Miró, was established in his native city of Barcelona in 1975.His work has been interpreted as Surrealism, a sandbox for the subconscious mind, a re-creation of the childlike, and a manifestation of Catalan pride. [2]

Pablo Picasso- CUBISM-

Pablo Picasso was born in Spain in 1881. He’s famous for being de co-founder of CUBISM.

CUBISM is a style of painting made up of cubes, spheres, cylinders, cones and other geometric shapes. The paintings look like someone had cut them up and glued them back together.
