Students in 3rd grade are studying another painter.

Piet Mondrian used rectangles, squares and black lines to create his paintings!

And he only used Primary Colours (red, yellow and blue).

We watched a video about Kandinsky’s life. Now, we know a lot about him!!!

While painting, we listened to Richard Wagner’s music (Kandinsky’s favourite music).

And….that’s the result of our work!

AUTUMN

This month, pupils in 3rd level are working on Autumn.

They are colouring some leaves using warm colours (yellow, red, orange, brown…).

Children are also learning the following poem. It’s very short and easy! Let’s read it! 😀

Autumn leaves

Leaves are falling

To the ground

Look at all the colours

Red, yellow, brown.

Warm and Cold colours

They used newspapers and magazines to make this fantastic work!

Now, they know the warm (red, yellow and orange) and cold (green, blue and purple) colours
