under the sea mural 2

Hello!

How are you doing? We hope you all are doing well.

Lately we have been learning about all the animals we can find UNDER THE SEA!

It has been really interesting, we have discovered a lot of sea animals. (fish, reef fish, octopus, crab, eel, shark, seahorse, prawn, starfish, stingray, dolphin, whale, orca, turtle, jellyfish, seal). You would be surprised how much animals we have known.

Moreover, we sang a fun song, called LIVING UNDER THE SEA!

We made hand-fish and fish silhouettes, we had fun and enjoyed learning.

As you could see we also made our own aquarium with plastic plates, we were inspirited after visit the Aquarium of Barcelona.

Finally we are preparing a Goodbye Song, especially dedicated for P5 students who are finishing Pre-schoo.l

Hola!

Què tal? Esperem que tot vagi bé.

Últimament hem estat aprenent sobre els animals que podem trobar UNDER THE SEA!

St. George’s day!

A BIT OF HISTORY:

Sant Jordi (Saint George) is celebrated on April 23 throughout Catalonia. The cult of Sant Jordi was strong in Catalonia in the medieval period with the result that he became  Catalonia’s patron Saint. In legend, Sant Jordi was a brave knight who fought versus a terrifying dragon and rescued a princess. And from the dragon blood, came out a rose. Then, Sant Jordi gave it to the princess.

In 1st Primary class we presented this day with children acting out the legend of Sant Jordi and the dragon.

I hope you enjoy the pictures… 🙂

Parrot is back!

As you might noticed, in this second term, parrot is back! This is an activity to share with families where children enjoy its company, the mascot that walks with them since P3. They feel very proud taking care of parrot and showing him their daily routines. Also, they can customize the album and leave their personal experience on it, and afterwards it can be shared with the rest of the class.

Hope you all are enjoying with them!!!!!
