Teens quiz
Students wanted to find out what influence advertising has on their peers. With this purpose, they made a quetionnaire and asked 142 students. Here you can see the questions, the charts and diagrams with the results and the conclusions that have been reached.
RESULTS AND GRAPHICS
In the graphics below you can see the results of questions 1 to 6. There are two graphics since we thought it was interesting to compare boys’ answers to what girls answered.
The graphics below show the results to question 7 in which there is not much difference between boys’ and girls’ answer to whether they like people to form their opinion of them according to their appearance or their personality.
Conclusions
- Many people don’t felt bad about themselves if they haven’t got something, but boys are quite more materialistic than girls.
- The majority of the people interviewed don’t think that if you have a certain item the rest of the people like you more.
- Girls are more easily influenced by ads than boys.
- Most of the girls felt that others might like them more if they looked different, for example if their face, body or hair were different.
- The majority of the people didn’t feel that they would like themselves more if they could change their appearance with a product advertised or that others would like them more.
- Most people think that they would like others to form their opinion of them according to their personality and character traits rather that the way they look or the things that they have.
