Writing a Film Review

2046

After the fascinating In the Mood for Love, Wong Kar-Wai drags us into his world of feelings , into his world of passion through the film 2046 . “Romanticism means you follow your heart more than your mind,” Wong said in his Hong Kong promotion. “If that’s the case, my films are 75% romantic; the other 25% is the realities, the problem solving and luck.” As for himself, he laughs and says he’s “60% romantic.” Which sounds as if the other 40% were talking. “When we fall in love we wonder: Will they change? Will I change? How can we make this moment last forever? This was the beginning of my film”- added Wong.

The plot ? When last seen, at the end of in the Mood for Love, Chow was mourning a failed affair with Su Lizhen (Maggie Cheung) and making a pilgrimage to the ruins of Angkor Wat. He was told that to bury a sad secret, one should find an ancient hole, whisper the secret into it, then cover it up. That was 1967. It’s a few years later, and Chow has taken residence in room 2046 of the Oriental Hotel, where several bewitching women cross his path. One is Lulu (Carina Lau), who traps herself in a series of volcanic affairs. “She didn’t mind sad endings,” Chow notes in the film’s narration.

 20461

A mysterious woman, only known as Black Spider, quietly walks into his life and brings back his lost memory, the memory of the time he spent with an married woman named Su Li-Zhen (Maggie Cheung). Black Spider helps the writer to win back his money then he could buy a ticket returning to Hong Kong. She refused to share her past with him, except her name, which is also Su Li-Zhen (Gong Li).

However, a question remains: is the movie good? And the answer is no. It’s wonderful—a rich, glamorous and acutely human work with superb performances by Leung and the four gorgeous actresses. The result : a romantic masterpiece where he depicts the troubled hearts of people who have the attitude but not always the aptitude for love.

My sound advice : Don’t miss it as it’s a superb piece of art. Yet, if you have ever been in love , you may feel this is the love you had always been looking for… and feel blue!! It’s your choice !!

    Sweeney Todd(Tim Burton)

He never forgets and he never forgives: he is Sweeney Todd, the demon barber of Fleet street. In 2008, the brilliant director Tim Burton adapted this musical into an amazing film. He starred Johnny Depp, Helena Bonham Carter, Alan Rickman and Timothy Spall and also with unkown actors as Jamie Campell-Bower, Edward Sanders Jayne Wisener and Laura Michelle Kelly.
The film tells the story of a man, Benjamin Barker, a simple barber who lived happily with his wife and his daughter, Johanna. The city’s judge, Turpin, was in love with Benjamin’s wife and, with an unjust sentence, he send the barber to Australia. Fifteen years later, he retourn to London with the young Anthony Hope, a sailor who helped Barker. Benjamin changes his name to Sweeney Todd and he only want one thing: the revenge. With Mrs. Lovett’s help, the owner of the local where Benjamin’s barbery was, they think a plan to kill the judge. Meanwhile, Sweeney Todd kills his customers and Mrs Lovett turns them to pies. Anthony falls in love with Johanna and he fights to save her from the judge.

In my opinion, this is one of the best films that Tim Burton has directed.Revenge, love, gelosy, egoismt, darkness…There are a lot of words to describe it. This film is the mixture of a lot of things that convine perfectly to each other. Tim was only person who could convince Johnny to sing in a film and he hasn’t disappointed me, I discovered that Johnny has a very beautiful voice. The acting of Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter is superb, they are the perfect couple to interpret Sweeney and Mrs Lovett. They are, with the other starring of the film, the perfect mixture for this film. The set, the decoration, the costumes, the make up,… were amazing, the film takes you to the past, to the Victorian times. Also, all the songs are fascinating, composed by the musician Stephen Sondheim.

All in all…would I have to recommend this film? If you like the musicals I highly-recommended, there are a lot of high quality songs in this film. The acting of the actors is perfect, and if you like Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter, you must see it. But, if you hate the musicals and the way that Tim Burton directed films, I don’t recomend it.

    Edward Scissorhands

Edward Scissorhands, a film never forgotten. Although in 1990, the year of his premiere wasn’t recognized, but is one of the principal films of the 90s. This brilliant film is directed by Tim Burton who is known by “the history of the worst director” Ed Wood, the excellent Gothic story Sleepy Hollow, Sweeney Todd… The art and the capacity of Burton to create characters, environments and landscapes do that the spectator enters a world of fantasy. He trusted with Johnny Depp for Edward Scissorhands’ role, with Wynona Ryder that gave life to Kim Boggs and the inventor of Edward, Vincent Price.
The film tells the story of the old woman that tells her granddaughter where from the snow. In an enchanted mansion a strange inventor created Edward, an unfinished man. The inventor died and couldn’t have just placed his hands, so he survives with a few scissors instead of hands. One day, an unexpected visit, a saleswoman of cosmetics will give to Edward the opportunity to know the outside world. Thanks to his skills like gardener and barber, it is start accepted by the inhabitants of the city. Nevertheless, his different aspect they are not late in problems causing him …

The film doesn’t decay at any moment. The film shows the opposition to us of two worlds: the fantasy (the gothic castle) and the reality. The drama of Edward is painful because the people see an Edward totally opposite as he is he really. This film has a moral: learn to value the persons of their appearances. I would like to state the excellent special effects and, specially, the excellent make-up. Above all, the fascinating sound track of Danny Elfman (it has composed sound track in all films of Tim, less in Ed Wood), the special effects and, specially, the excellent make-up and the same with Johnny Depp that is counted with him in five occasions. Although the impressive thing of this film is that with 127 words, Johnny, it transmitted much to us, its gestures, its feelings… even so all the actors have known to fit its characters. In conclusion, if you are the kind of viewer that likes the action films I don’t recommend, but if you like it the fairy’s stories modern and Burton’s genre, I would highly recommend.

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix

Harry Potter it’s a fantastic film based on the books by J.K. Rowling. It’s directed by David Yates. This is the fifth part realized and the last for now. It stars Daniel Radcliff (Harry Potter), Rupert Grint (Ron Weasley) and Emma Watson (Hermione Granger), between others.
All the story is about the good and the bad, black or white.
When Harry Potter was a little boy won a Lord Voldemort , the most dangerous magician of all the times. In this part of the story Harry have a visions when Voldemort is attacked some people. In Hogwarts Harry with his friends, form the Army of Dumbledore, where Harry teaches to use defence conjurations. One day Harry have a vision when his godfather Sirius is tortured for Lord Voldemort. He decide to go to rescue him, and his friend go with Harry to helm him. In Magic Department is produced a fight between Order of the Phoenix and Lord Voldemort and his persecutors. In the fight Sirius is killed. Harry loses his last relative.
Dumbledore win a Voldemort in a time.
In my opinion the film realized gripping, overcoat for the special effects, since they are fascinating above all in a fight between Dumbledore and Voldemort. The story is well-plotted and in determinate parts thought-provoking, for example when Harry is Listened his prophecy. All the end of Harry Potter do that you wont to know the continuation.I highly-recommended, because it’s not a film for a children, is for all the ages. It is fantastic and very magic, and this is provoke you to dream.

    I AM LEGEND

This film is one of my favorite films. Robert Neville is played magnificently by Will Smith. I am legend is a view of the future in the world in the year 2012. In the film there is great influence of the Jamaican singer Bob Marley, who is heard in the background music and in the end, and in the coincidence of the title of the film with the album of the singer “Legend”. This film is directed by Francis Lawrence. This film is a science-fiction and quite terror.

THE PLOT? That the virus of the measles was disturbed genetically as cure for the cancer, this virus mutates, generating a strange epidemic at global level. A virologist of the Army of the EEUU, the Lieutenant Colonel Robert Neville remains as the last human being without contaminating in the city of New York, and possibly in the entire world. Robert Neville has to save the world finding a solution to the
    virus.

In my opinion the acting of this film is convincing with excellent special effects and is a brilliant film. The negative is with the are quite slow-moving.

El Diario De Noah (Noah’s Diary)

One of my favourite films is “Noah’s Diary”. This film was directed by Nick Cassavetes. The main actors are: Noah (Ryan Gosling), a teenager who felt madly in love with Allie (Rachel McAdams). They know themselves in Seabrook when Noah went there with his family in summer. It’s a love story in which I cried a lot.
As I have said, the film is about two teenagers who felt madly in love. They had the best summer of their lives and promise that they would be always together, but because of some difficult circumstances like the “Second World War” they had to separate for a long time. Allie started working as voluntary nurse for the injured people of the war. There, she met Lon, her future husband. Allie and Noah met in Seabrook some years later, she was married but he was still in love with her. The years went on and we can see an elderly man who everyday visited a woman who had Alzheimer’s, he read her a love story, her love story. During some moments they kept alive those moments of her adolescence. At the end of the film we can see the sad story because of the disease of the elderly woman.
To my mind, it’s a superb film, but it’s very slow-moving. I think it’s very well made because the flashback is used several times when they remembered their adolescence. I would like to say that is thought-provoking, the night that I saw this film I couldn’t sleep. I don’t like the ending because it’s very sad, but is beautiful. I would recommend it to people who really like love stories. This film has love, sadness, cries, happiness,… A lot of feeling that make the film more interesting.

    The National Treasure (La Busqueda)

Benjamin Franklins Gates is the protagonist of one of the most exciting film that I have seen recently, the story centers in a big treasure that the Freemason hid during the American Revolution. Benjamin and his friend, Riley Poole tried to find the meaning of the clues to arrive to the treasure. This film is filmed in the USA and directed by Jon Turteltaub.

The story starts when Benjamin Franklins Gates (Nicolas Gate) was just a boy, he was in his grandfather library when he found a paper, but while he was starting to read it, his grandfather appears and he explained him all the story of this paper, he told him that it was a clue that took to a very big treasure. The young Benjamin starts reading about the masons, this treasure, North America and all his history. When he was in his thirties he found the answer to the first clue and using her history knowledge and helped by Riley Poole ( Justin Bartha ) he started founding all the clues and meeting new people that helped him. Specially one woman, her name was Abigail Chase (Diane Kruger), she was a doctor that was duped by Benjamin and Riley. But finaly she fell in love with Benjamin and they get married.
After trigger a ship, abduct the North American Independence Declaration, stay in many countries of the world, sequester John Kennedy and read the secret presidents book they arrived to the Old North Church in Boston. After a lot of hours of exploration they found the treasure.

I would like to say that the story is extremelly well-plotted, I think is very dificult to design of all the clues, the work of the script writer is fascinating. It’s a bit thought-provoking because, during the film it make you think about the answer of the clues and how he will make to find the treasure.
I also think, that the performances of the actors, specially of Nicolas Gate, Diane Kruger and Justin Bartha are superb and some scenery is stunning, like the Charlotte or the Treasure’s room.
I would like to state that there are scenes that are a bit unrealistic, like the characters can stole the Independence Declaration so easily.
All in all, I would recommend this film to the adventure films lover and to all the persons that have the dream of find a treasure.

    The house bunny:

The film is directed by Fred Wolf in 2008. The plot is set in EUA.
It’s a comedy in which a girl has to chose between being an university student or to continue being a playboy girl, starring Anna Faris as Shelley (the playboy girl); Colin Hanks as Oliver, Emma Stone as Natalie, Kat Dennings as Mona and Hugh Hefner.

The film tells the story of a playboy girl who leaves the house and she doesn’t have any place to live. And she goes to the campus of the university, there she wants to help some girls because they need students or they must close the residence. So she changes them physically and psychologically.
Shelley (Anna Faris) is a sexy and stupid girl but we can see that she is kind, and she only wanted to help in the best possible way.

This film is a comedy and it makes you think about the importance that the society gives to the physical appearance. It makes you see the meaning of the friendship, and you can see who is next to you in the worst moments.
Personally, I think this film has a ridiculous and very predictable ending. It’s a blockbuster, but with a poor plot, like “Una rubia muy legal”.I would like to comment that the performances are convincing and stereotyped.

So would I recommend it? Well, I had laughed a lot because of the stupid things that are in the film, but it’s not a good movie, I think the best word to define it is nonsense . But if you have a ten year old daughter I think she could like it, although the vocabulary may not be correct for her.

    Almost 300

The film is directed by: Jason Friedberg y Aaron Seltzer.

It Starting: Sean Maguire (Leónidas), Carmen Electra (reina Margo), Ken Davitian (Jerjes), Kevin Sorbo (capitán), Jareb Dauplaise (Dilio), Travis Van Winkle (Sonio), Diedrich Bader (Traitoro), Method Man (emisario persa), Phil Morris (mensajero), Nicole Parker (Britney Spears/Paris Hilton/Paula Abdul/Ellen DeGeneres), Emily Wilson (Lindsay Lohan).

    Synopsis:
The heroic Leonidas, with no more weapons that leather underwear and a cape, leads a group of 13 (Telling good 13!) Spartans defending their homeland against the invading Persians (whose ranks include Ghost Rider, Rocky Balboa, the Transformers and a humpback Paris Hilton … no one is safe when the Spartans get involved with the icons of popular culture).

    Opinion:
What is most laughable is that makes the special effects machines are pathetic.
is a film having a good time alone or in company, I recommend you this film because it’s great.
Pararas not to laugh since he started the film until it reaches the final, which is the best in the entire movie. When all the characters sing the song together for: I will Survive.

    The Bourne ultimatum

This spy (fiction spionage) film is the 3rd of a trilogy and is based in a book of Robert Ludlum. It is directed by Paul Greengrass in 2007.
It tells us the story of a man who sffers memory loss and he doesn’t remember who is him but during the films he always have a kind of flashes that show him his life and he discovers that he was a CIA assassin.
The movie starts in Russia he’s there asking for sorry to all the families of the people that he had killed and also he is finding the true of his past. He discovers that CIA has a project in wich they transform militar people in professional assassins who don’t need any reason to kill and they don’t care if it is good or bad or the people that they kill are innocent or not. He was one of them but when he started to think for homself, they wanted to killed him because it become a trouble.
He was the first of this program but there is more people like him and CIA send them after him, now he is finding the creators to ask them why they chose him we will travel over the world helped by Nicky Parson (Julia Stiles) until he goes to CIA office and remembers his identity and the meaning of “psychological conditioning program”.

In my opinion, Matt Damon plays a very realistic performance and is really convincing in his actuation. It’s very exciting because you don’t know what is going to happen, is well-ploting and the end is superb for me this is the best part. The sound, effects and the montage are fantastic, also this film win three oscars for this things.
Above all I wold like to state that there is one scene that is really good. Bourne is following a sniper that is hunting his friend Nicky Parson, (Julia Stiles) to kill her. At the same time the police is following him, it ‘s a crazy chase! The main character have to jump over the balconies of the houses to arrive at time to help her.
To sum up I wold recomened you to see this film because it isn’t the tipical action film, it have something different, so I invited you to watch it.

    The Kovak box

This film was directed by Daniel Monzón in 2006, with the help of Spanish television .
This is a though-provoking film very interesting but a bit strange because the story is well-plotted, but you have to stay listening until the end because you don’t understand the film.
Is very convincing all the performances because the story passes in Spanish land: Mallorca. You can’t imagine that this film is real because is very twisted; overcoat the fact of a person can do this plan. It was directed by Daniel Monzón, with the help of Spanish television.

Is about a writer named David (Timothy Hutton) who travels to Mallorca with his future wife to give a conference of his book of science fiction. There’s a person who known that he go to the land and decide to test the writer using characteristics of his book. The stay in Mallorca starts to be a nightmare when his wife commits suicide first night without any reason. He started to investigate and met a girl (Lucía Jimenez) who was a victim of this strange game who somebody named Kovak (David Kelly) prepared. This man invented a experiment named the Kovak box that consist in put a mouse inside a labyrinth and his movement correspond with a series of stimuli and punishments, but some years ago it was a scandal because he try his experiment with human bodies. Then Kovak started a new project based in the book who David wrote, named Gloomy Sunday. This is the name of a music that does that incites them to fake the suicide. Kovak decide to use all the people who travel in the jet with the writer, and implant a type of chip, and then he tried to put the music of Gloomy Sunday to see since they react.

Personally I think that this film is for the people who like the puzzles, because is an intrigue and at the same time a thriller. Is original because mix the idea of a scientific interested in the books of science-fiction, and tries to put in the practice his ideas. All the characters are very implicated in the film, thinking since like a person to whom really passing this indeed, and all the ideas of the projects I think that some scientific can investigate with this project to verify the film with mousses. I recommended this film because is very original with some points of fear.

    TROPA DE ÉLITE (JOSÉ PADILHA)

“Tropa de élite” is a drama and action film, directed by José Padilha that tells the live of the captain of the BOPE (Batallón de Operaciones Especiales de la Policia). Wagner Moura that acts as Captain Nascimiento interlive his worklive and his family live. We are on 1997 and Juan Pablo II is coming to Río de Janeiro and he’s going to stay near the favelas. Nascimiento’s mission is to pacify the street discos that are controlled by a mafia. The captain works under a constant press and he’s start feeling stress effect. He has to achieve the orders that he receives, meanwhile he’s looking for a substitute because he want to leave the BUPE, his wife Rosane (Maria Ribeiro) is going to have a baby and she is always asking to leave his place.
In this situation, he received a phone call and he have to go to a emergency, they have to save two candidates to police: Neto (Caio Junqueira) and André Matias (André Ramiro). Wishful to be like their rescuers they present like candidates to be of the BOPE.

To my mind, I thing that is a brilliant film and very realistic that tells us the corruption inside the police corps and the mafia that control the favelas at Rio de Janeriro.
I would like to state the outstanding performance of Wagner Moura as Captain Nascimiento and the convincing scenes of the favelas and the shooting scenes.
The best part of the film is the part of the formation course that most of people abandon the course because is too hard, but only two of the candidates finish, Neto and André Matias.

Generally speaking I think that is highly-recommended for its stunning scenes and because it’s exciting from start to finish.
To sum up I recommend it to the drama and action lovers.

    SALVADOR (Puig Antich)

The 2nd of March of 1974, the young militant of the “Moviment Ibèric d’Alliberació”, Salvador Puig Antich, was the latest politic prisoner executed in Spain with the “garrot vil”. The film deals about his story and the attempts of his family, friends and lawyers to prevent his execution. I was inspired by a true event and it is based on the Francesc Escribano’s book “Compte enrere: la història de Salvador Puig Antich”.

Salvador Puig Antich (Daniel Brühl) is one of the members of the MIL. They do very good robberies in Spain to finance the labour movement and the police are very scared of them. But one day the police set a tramp for Salvador and another member. In they arrest, there was a shoot-out and Salvador was badly injured and a police died. Here stars all the problems of Salvador. After his pass for the hospital, he enters in the prison “Model de Barcelona” there he explains all the things that he had done to his lawyer, Oriol Arau (Tristán Ulloa). The film show his previous acts combined with the real life of they familly, friends and also his life. Another importan caracter is Jesús (Leonardo Sbaraglia), the civil server of prisons who is encharged of the gallery where is Salvador. His carachter shows the real personality of Salvador, his sensitibity and how he love his family.

To my mind is a very thought-provoking film. When you finish to see it, you are paralysed. I don’t know why, but you remain sitting infront of the screen, maybe for the fantastic soundtrack of Lluís Lach that stills sounding or because you want to know all the people that had intervend. The direction of Manuel Huerga is brilliant, it transports yourself and it seems that you know the carachter of always. But one of the that is why I would recommend the film, is the songs that are lenghtway of the film sounding, they are lovely but above all the song “I si canto trist” of Lluís Llach, that he dedicates to Salvador Puig Antich, and he makes a new version of the song specially for the film with the collaboration of Miquel Gil and also the song “Suzanne” of Leonard Cohen that is in a very special part of the film and also the character of Salvador sings. To sum up is a brilliant film that moves the audience, specially for the very good job of Daniel Brühl, his interpretation is very convincing and shows credibility to his character.

To sum up, I highly-recommended to see this film, specially to the people who likes to know what had happens in our county in a past that isn’t so far.

    THE STRANGERS:

I like the movie “ the strangers” because it was inspired by a true history and has a very good plot and the performance it’s amazing.
It‘s an example to follow because it during a short time, has cost was little, not many cast and few special effects too.
It’s directed by Brian Bertino and the cast was Liv Tyler, Scott Speedman, Laura Margolis, Gemma Ward and Glenn Howerton.

This is a fantastic terror movie in which a couple arrive at their summer house after an argument at a wedding that had gone. Once there, three masked people began to torture without reason.
All the film tells the fatal history of the couple, but also there are moments of intrigue, and what I like in particular that things happen suddenly and you have been scared.

In my opinion, I t was a brilliant film, exciting from start to finish, realistic and you pass a great time, I think also that’s a thought- provoking film because you think about this couple and the bad time in this house.

In conclusion, it was fantastic and the acting convincing for my mind.
I recommended this film to the terror fans and also for all publics

  14. Alba

My favourite film is Charlie’s Angels, Full Throttle. This film it could be a mixture of three types of genres: Action, Adventure and Comedy. Is directed by McG in 2003 and is set in different cities of California. Is based on the popular 70’s TV show. It starts Cameron Diaz as Natalie, Drew Barrymore as Dylan and Lucy Liu as Alex. This film is the second of the two ones that have been edited. At the beginning of the film, we see the three Angels escape from a Mongolian bar, then they run into trouble with tanks atop a border crossing.
The film is about three spectacular young girls who work as secret agents for the agency of the mysterious “Charlie” and their new right-hand man named Jimmy Bosley.
In their last mission they will have to recover a pair of rings that have disappeared. The rings have been coded with special information that can be used to access a list of every person in the FBI’s Witness Protection Program. They contain a very valuable information. They suspect that their principal witness is an old Charlie Angel named Madison Lee (Demi Moore) who has been a workmate in the Agency. There have been 5 murders of people who were inside the plan, but only the 3 Angels will can detain the assassin. To get the assassin they will have to fight with intelligently, tecnic and rapidity.
In lots of situations they will be in danger because of the fightings with bad people. These three girls are spectacular and they will have to resolve this case with all their own weapons.
In my opinion, what makes Charlie’s Angels such a successful film are the brilliant and beautiful actresses and the glamour and luxury lives of the characters.
I think the actresses try to make their scenes as much as realistic possible, but in general the action of the film is very unrealistic because they do impossible things like if they were possible.
I only criticize this aspect of the film. The rest I think is brilliant and the fast-moving of the action scenes makes the film interesting, amazing and funny.

    Pride and prejudice

It’s a film about love and about the life in the 18th century. One of the main characters is Elissabeth Bennet, a rebel young girl that thinks all the boys are idiots and equals and that don’t want to marry with anyone. The stars of this film are Keira Knightley, Talulah Riley, Rosamund Pike, Jena Malone, Donald Sutherland and Brenda Blethyn. Other actors are Simon Woods, Carey Mulligan and Matthew Macfadyen, the other main character. This fantastic film is based in a novel of Jane Austen, Joe Wright, the director, has the good idea of adapt this novel on a film.

The five Bennet sisters have been raised well aware of their mother’s, which has the fixation on finding them husbands. One day, Mr Bingley, a very rich young man, takes u p a residence in the zone. All the daughters goes to a dance to meet him. Jane, the oldest’s daughter, fells in love of Mr Bingley and him too. In this party, Elizabeth meets Mr Darcy, the best friend of Mr Bingley. The first impresion wasn’t good. She was convinced that he was bad and pride, but at the end, then of some encountrers not very good and some problems…she knows she was not truth, because she discovers that Mr Darcy was a very good person. Before some time, Mr Darcy said her to marry with him, but Lizzie was ungry and said him no, because for him, Mr Bingley doesn’t married with Jane. Apart of this, she discovers that they are very similar, and she knows she was in love of him, Mr Darcy.

Pride and prejudice was a fantastic film with a very good plot. For me was one of the best romantic films I see. There were a very good starring of all the personnages, and I think the repart of the roles was very good. One of the best things of this film is the music, which for me is precious. Decorates and all the clothes I think are very good, very realistics. If I must choose one film to conserve, I will choose Pride and prejudice. I recommend watch this film to all the people who likes romantic films or Keira Knightley, if you hate or don’t like the films about love, I don’t recommend it, but you must know it was a brillant film.

    REQUIEM FOR A DREAM

When you aspire to obtain something, to make something important in life, it is better not to involve yourself in the world of drugs.

Based in the novel of Hubert Selby, Requiem for a dream is a 2000 film directed by Darren Aronofsky and starred Ellen Burstyn, Jared Leto, Jennifer Connelly and Marlon Wayans.
The story takes place during three seasons. It’s about Harry Goldfarb, his mother Sara, his girlfriend Marion, his best friend Tyron and their enormous drug addiction. It begins in summer, the day that Sara receives a call and is invited by a TV programme to take part in it. She becomes really obsessed in that fact, and she wants to wear the red dress she wore in Harry’s graduation. She is a bit fat, so she begins taking a regimen of prescription weight-loss pills. These alter her behaviour, but she passionately insists that the chance to be on television has given her a reason to live.
Parallel, Harry and Marion became really addict. There is no day they don’t drug and that creates them a great dependence. With Tyron, they decide to start selling drugs and with the money they earn they are going to realize their dreams. But the business starts going wrong, and the drugs doesn’t arrive. They decide to travel to find drug easier and to prostitute Marion to obtain some. Meanwhile, Sara’s call doesn’t arrive, so she becomes mad. The result of all that? Sara finishes in a mental asylum, Harry’s arm is amputated, Tyron stays in prison and Marion continues degrading herself at orgies for heroin.

From my point of view it has a strong, really good elaborated argument. Although it seems there are two different stories, they are linked as if it was one. I have learnt so much of this film. I didn’t know that the pills to slim had drugs and that you could become so mad for the addiction. That astonished me a lot, as well as the injure in Harry’s arm, it was disgusting. It shows how can be life, how it is when you are involved in this type of things and how can you finish, so I think that a part from teaching it’s a thought-provoking film that makes you look life with another eyes and makes you realize on what do you have, what do you want and what you don’t want and look you

I would highly recommend this film to mature people, because though it doesn’t seem, it is a strong movie with a deep message. And also to people that when the film finishes are still thinking in what had happened.

Drugs aren’t essential or needed to live, and far from it recommended when you have dreams to fulfill. Life without them, maybe it doesn’t seem it, but is too much easy, so why complicate it?

    Madagascar 2

Saturday I went in the afternoon to see, Madagascar 2.
I went to see this film to the cinema.

When he succeeded, they went out the city with the gold bullions, with their “Minis Coopers”. This cars are very fast and very small, because they was passed through the slim sidewalks.

    Rush Hour 2

I watched this film because I like very much Jackie Chan like an actor and also because the film was popular and was the second part.

The film is about two friends, Lee (Jackie Chan), living in Hong Kong, and James Carter (Chris Tucker), living in USA and each one was working at police from his city.

Is a martial arts and action film. Carter was in holidays and decides to visit his friend Lee to Hong Kong. Soon after he arrives, a bomb explodes in the American Embassy and Lee was assigned to the case. Which becomes personal when it is discovered that it somehow involves Ricky Tan (John Lone), his late police officer father’s former partner. Tan was suspected of having a role in Lee’s father’s death, is now a leader of the Triads.
Carter and Lee wants to go to Tan but after they fight to all men of Tan. Carter made worse the situation continuously but Lee solved it very good, until arriving at Tan.

To sum up, is a funny film and with a good argument with the besta actors. The story is exiting and well-plotted and the end is amazing. The acting are superb with a special effects stunnings.
To me, thest play of Jackie Chan with a humorless actor, Chris Tucker. They do a perfect pair to cinema.
