I think that downloading music is not good, because MAKING A CD COSTS A LOT OF MONEY,but on the other hand the singers only want to make money. So,what is more important for the singer?to make money or to be listened by people who enjoy his or her music?
firstly, the singers give importance to the money more than to the enjoyment of their music.
Secondly, the CDs are very expensive and young people can’t afford them.
Finaly,we must know that everybody can have internet and downloading is something normal and people don’t find it IS illegal.

I think that IT is bad downloading music ILLEGALY because the singers and their people loose a lot of money because this downloading PREVENTS THEM TO win money frOM their work. This video says it,and,I´m sorry, but I can´t listen the second because the audio is very less.

In my opinion,I think that is true, but it isn´t my problem and I will follow downloading music in internet by this illegal form.

wowwww!! what a wonderful moral dilemma!!

    poor britney… hahaha

I always download music for free, and it’s a thinK that everyone doES IT.
I think that the singers have to sing songs because they love them and
because they want to be listenend by all the people in the world, not to
make themselves richer and to be famous.

People know that downloadING music for free is illegal, but they do it as if
    it was legal.
what’s more, I THINK THAT if EVERYone who downloadED music for free went to prison,
prisons would be crowded!! don’t you think that?

I think downloading music it’s not a crime. Singers earn a lot of money with their songs, but, they win more money with their image and with the advertisements.
Imagine that everybody would buy all the CD’s, they would become EVEN richer.
I don’t agree with THE South Park teacher, because if Britney Spears doesn’t have a remote control for his souronding dvd system it’s not a big problem.
In my opinion the more money you have the more you want.

I agree with Paul Mcartney about he thinKs ON downloading music. I downlad music every day.

In my experience I haVE bought many CD’s AND THEY are expensive, and I found that half of the songs weren’t
    as good as expected.
So If you download music you choose exactly the songs you want and IT IS much cheaper.

    This interview is very interesting.

This is another discussed subject: downloading music.
I think everybody does that, so maybe it’s an illegal thing that has become very common and nobody says anything about it. People keep doing it.
But, let’s analyse the situation: I think that downloading music is a big benefit for band sand singers who have just started their music career or they are not famous. If people start downloading its songs for free, they will become popular.
Moreover, if you like a song from a band, I guess you are not going to buy their CD just for a song.
In fact, CDs are more expensive every year and bands don’t live with the benefit they take with the CDs they have sold, but with the tour, concerts and merchandising.
In my opinion, downloading whole CDs or even whole discographies is a crime, but downloading just a song or two is something understandable. I usually buy CDs but I download music too.
I also think that it’s worsE to download whole movies than music. The film industry is even more affected.

Oh, my God! I am guilty too. However, I think that this video shows clearly that downloading music for free for personal use only doEs not kill anyone. I would feel really bad if I downloaded music for free to make business out of it. For example, the so called “top manta”. I would never do that.

    Wow!
    This is a big dilemma.
I think that downloadING MUSIC is not bad, but for compositors and singers maybe THEY lose lots of money and then they can’t buy a lot of things, but I also thinK that singers have to sing to make people happy and because they love singING.
They must sing with her and his hearts and no TO GET billions of dollars, in my opinion this people don’t deserve other people’S TO HEAR THEIR songs because then, when they have a lot of money they disappear INTO AN ISLAND, buy a big house, a mansion, with garden and more things and they finish with their singING career.

I think downloadING music by internet is not a crime. CD’s are too expensibe and downloadING the music is free. I don’t want to have the CD, I just want to listen to the music and I can do it as well if I download it as if I buy the CD. On the other hand, it’s not good for the musicIANs, CD companies and others lose loads of money. Actually, some of these artistS start uploading THEIR music and making people to pay for downloadING it. I like this sYstem, but if you wait a bit, you’ll BE ABLE TI LISTEN TO thOSE songs for free.

He is right, for somtIMES, but not for others.
Downloading music is a bad thing, but maybe you don’t want to go to the shop, search for the CD you want and buy. It’s easier to download it, and it’s cheaper.
Nowadays, some bands leave their music on the internet, so peolple can download it and they will be famous maybe. Because people WILL NOT buy a CD for a song or without knowing their music.

  11. Eric Santos

    Hi,

Well, here for the fourth time. I hope I have
enough arguments to discuss this situation.

All the music I have is downloaded from Ares. Now
I’m downloading music, yesterday I downloaded music.
Downloading music has become a need.

CD’s are too expensive, and if I can download music,
why MUST i NOT do it? AT the moment, police isn’t
doing anything to avoid it. So, if nobody advertises me
personally, I won’t stop downloading. Moreover, I only
download music, there are people who download
    computer programmes, FILMS, games…

Like Gemma has said in her comment, that downloading
whole CD’s or discographies is a crime, I don’t agreE
WITH her. If we pay internet, why can’t we download music?
If it was a crime, police would act immediately.
