Because it was a success and you worked very hard, here’s a special gift for you.

And here’s a new gift. How did you like the activities?

CONGRATULATIONS!!!

It’s time to congratulate everybody: teachers and pupils. We had a wonderful day at “Pavelló Firal” and we were very fortunate with the weather, the activities and, also, the theatre.

It was a different way to learn English and a good moment to speak it.

“Mary, Mary! It’s lunch time!”

The sun is still shining and Mary Cowins is slowly opening her eyes.

“Oh, dear! I had a fantastic dream!”, says Mary.

“What happened in your dream?”, asks Dirki.

“I was in many countries and I met a lot of people. It was wonderful, but… really… I think we’re lucky to be here all together”.

  THE END

“Let’s have a cup of coffee”, says Dirki.

“O.K. Good idea! And after, we’ think what we can do”.

While they are drinking coffee, they watch a programme on T.V. about the volcanoes in la Garrotxa. They like it very much and decide to visit this lovely place.

They take a coach to the capital of la Garrotxa: Olot. Then, they go to “Montsacopa”. It’s amazing! They find it so beautiful that Mary Cowins says: “Why don’t we get married here?”

Here is the programme for the English Day.

Next morning they go to Port Aventura by train -no problem with the railroad signs!- They get on the Dragon Khan many times but suddenly there is something wrong and it stops. Luckily, Mary Cowins has got her umbrella!

They all fly and fly and finally they land on the beach. They have fun all day but now they want to go back. “Let’s take a boat trip to Barcelona. I have many things to do” Markus says when he sees the harbour. All of them agree.

The last day they buy presents to each other. Markus buys a big teddy rabbit for his friends and Dirki and Mary Cowins buy a teddy bear and an umbrella for Markus. After exchanging their presents Markus says good bye with sadness.

“We have to leave Barcelona, too. But …where?” thinks Mary Cowins.

They first go to a hotel to rest and at night they visit  the Agbar Tower with its amazing colours. Next morning they visit the Sagrada Familia. They go up to the top, but Dirky has vertigo and they go down very quickly. Later, they visit the Aquarium and go shopping in the Maremagnum. Markus says:”Don’t worry. I’m very rich. I can pay all the bills.

But this day is very special because it’s… Mary Cowins’ birthday, and she says: “Today I want to celebrate my birthday party, and tomorrow I’d like to go to Port Aventura!”

In the afternoon they go to a musical pub to eat, listen to music and dance.
